Description of the San Clemente vacation home rental

This lovely home has been recently redone with designer touches throughout. The beach, AND downtown shopping, dining, drinking, and postal services are all just a few minute (two-three blocks) walk. Every thing has been included so your vacation can be spent.... vacationing.

The expansive front room shutter windows provide peek-a-boo ocean views from your resting spot on the sofa.

The home features authentic persian rugs, granite counter tops, a bar complete with several types of drink glasses as well as every imaginable morning essential.

We provide a drip coffee maker, a tea pot, a bistro press, and feature a TASSIMO beverage machine. With the push of a button you can make the perfect latte, cappucino, tea, or hot cocoa.

Our beachside home also features every modern business convenience: wireless internet (bring your computer,) a wireless printer, fax and cordless phone-and all domestic calls are free.

We provide all beach necessities including a wagon, a frisbee, sand toys, boogie boards, a beach blanket and towels, a beach umbrella, and a cooler.

The library features books and dvds for both adults and children, as well as board games, and some home exercise equipment.

The master bed features a brand new temper pedic mattress, and an island inspired ensemble. There is a second television and dvd/vhs with cable and HBO in the master bedroom armoire.

The second bedroom features a new futon which can be used as a sofa or a bed. Each bedroom features a variety of pillow types so every guest is certain to have the perfect match. We feature luxury bedding by such makers as Yves De'lorme, Nancy Koltes, and Sundance by Robert Redford.

We also have a nice, brand new, queen size inflatable bed with it's own 400 thread count sheets for extra guests. Additionally, there is an ottoman bed in the living room for a total of four beds, three double occupancy and one single.

The kitchen appliances are new and stainless. Pots and pans are stainless and there are also baking and serving trays included. There are a large number of culinary tools for the sophisticated chef. The dishes are elegant and classic designs.

The backyard features a jenn-air gas grill and range, and a patio with authentic teak dining and lounging furniture.

The bath has two shower heads and is tiled. We include personal size amenities for our guests by environmentally conscious companies as well as Ojon shampoo and conditioner.

Upon your arrival you will be greeted with a fresh snack basket and our carefully prepared "conciercge in a book."

Downtown San Clemente is a jewel along California's Orange coast line. Dotted with Spanish colonial architecture, the area features some of the best surfing--and beaches--in the united states. Dana Point Harbor is about five miles to the North on the Highway 1.(Laguna beach is another eight miles after the harbor) San Clemente is known as the "best climate on earth" with average temperatures year round in the 80s.
The town features great night life, shopping, and dining. There are also a number of art galleries. San Clemente is a perfect vacation destination, situated exactly between Los Angeles and San Diego. This enables the traveler to make easy day trips out of virtually any Southern California attraction, including zoos, and museums, and still return gracefully to a retreat of a spot. Disneyland is about 20 minutes away.

All we can say is WOW…What a great vacation we had at this beautiful, comfortable vacation home. It was just a short walk to the beach and we where so close to the fabulous restaurants and local attractions. The owner was very accommodating making our reservations and answered all of our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The home was clean, with everything we needed included. It made for a great vacation. We highly recommend staying here.

It was a great place to enjoy the sun, surf and see the night life in San Clemente. The accomidations were comfortable and the house was ideal for our stay. The process was easy and the staff was extremely helpful in helping us find just what we wanted. Most of what we needed was a short distance away (driving) and the shops and bistros were within easy walking distance. I recommend this house for an intimate getaway or for a small family that wants to spend some quality time together.
