Description of the San Clemente vacation home rental
The house is decorated in Tommy Bahama style, with 5 bedrooms, 3 baths,slate and travertine foors, granite counters, cable TV and high speed internet. Imagine sleeping in a huge upstairs master suite and awakening to views of the Pacific Ocean from every window. The fantastic travertine & granite master bath has a tub and separate 2-head shower. Also upstairs are 2 further bedrooms, bathroom, bonus room with attached deck both with great views of the Pacific Ocean. The deck is especially great for watching beautiful Pacific Ocean sunsets over Catalina Island.
Downstairs there is the cozy living room and dining room both with inviting fireplaces. Also downstairs there are 2 further bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and utility room with washer and dryer. The very spacious gourmet kitchen with granite counters is great for cooking family dinners with top of the line appliances. There is a breakfast bar and a large dining room for more formal occasions.
Outside there is a patio, bar-b-que area and garden with fire pit and seating.
Similar houses rent for much more! We love to travel the world too so we price our home low so we don't have to spend any more time than necessary renting it out rather than travelling.

Everything you need in one place

We rented this house for a family reunion/70th birthday for my handicapped father. This house was impeccable. They did not leave anything out that you would need for your stay. The house was more than we could have wished for. The house comes equipped with all the kitchen utensils, knives, blenders, and appliances that you would need. I went out and bought a potato masher, but the house already had one. There are plenty of linens, towels, and extra blankets if needed. There was a crib, bassinet, pack and play, strollers, high chair, and even a bumbo. The master bedroom was extremely large with amazing views. The whole upstairs had beautiful views, especially from the terrace. The backyard is amazing with lush tropical plants surrounding a bonfire pit. Next to that is the hot tub which we used a couple of times. The garage is filled with anything you might need at the beach (chairs, boogie boards, etc.) There were two sets of tables and chairs outside by the grill which was convenient for us. There was even a second fridge/freezer which was very useful. The main level has two bedrooms and 1 full bathroom which was perfect for my dad who can't go up stairs. The stone floors made it very easy for him to maneuver as well. The house is very close is walking distance to the beach, downtown area of San Clemente and pier. Although it was cool weather for our stay, we did relax on the pier for a while on several occasions. You can watch the surfers, observe the wildlife in the area (sea lions, dolphins, etc.) or drop a line and catch some dinner. San Clemente is an amazing town, and this house makes it even more amazing. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Thank you Valerie! You were a pleasure to work with. Met with owners upon arrival and they were extremely helpful in showing us around their beautiful home and recommending nearby stores and restaurants. Everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable was provided including strollers, high chairs, etc for our 20 month old grandaughter. The home had a lovely backyard with a hot tub and an additional deck upstairs. The rooms were very large and our party had more than enough room to spread out and prepare meals. It is centrally located to the downtown which was within walking distance, and only a short drive to Casa Romantica where our daughter was being married. Could not have asked for a more inviting space to enjoy a very special week in San Clemente. It is truely an exceptional place and we can only imagine revisiting in summer. Thanks for making our time in California one we will always treasure.

Beautiful home...well furnished...quiet neighborhood...main level has a nice open feel which allows family members to feel connected...we cook a lot-the kitchen served us well but the knives are not sharp...walk to the beach is about 15-20 min...great view of the ocean from the family room on the second level...excellent access to I-5...San Clemente in the winter has a nice home town feel to it-not flooded with tourists...we would stay here again for our family of young grandparents, adult children, and grandchild

We were looking for a special place for a family reunion and this house was perfect. It easily accommodated 8 adults and 6 'kids' between the ages of 15 and 22. The roomy gourmet kitchen and outdoor BBQ were ideal for preparing family meals, the master suite luxurious, and the proximity to the beach was great for the kids. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. We hope to go back in 2009 for another reunion.
