Very Stylish and Elegant 1 bedroom suite in La Jolla just on the edge of UCSD. The rentals are quiet, relaxing, and in a very quiet community.
Pool, hot tub, gym, and more. Full Amenities: Washer/Dryer, Full Kitchen, Internet. Close to bus lines and shopping center. 1min to UCSD, 5min to beaches and Scripps Aquarium, 10min to Sea World, and 15min to San Diego Zoo.
***Our rentals book out very quickly. The best deals can be found during the off-season (October 1 - February 28) not including holidays

Pleasant stay

This was our first stay at a vacation home instead of a hotel. Overall, the experience was very pleasant for several reasons: private and quiet location, secure parking, full kitchen, more spacious accommodations than a hotel, tennis courts and pool, central location for sightseeing and most anything we needed. We would consider renting again in the future.

this rental was very nice,well furnished and so easy to get to ,it made little work for everything.. the rental rate is way fair..would stay here again if just my wife and I ,very close to a large shopping plaza,the hi way ,and beach is a few minute drive,for us ,it was a short walk to a relatives place

Excellent for Temporary Housing

We used this condo unit for a month and a half for relocation temporary housing. The location is in the UTC mall area of La Jolla which is easy to get to and from on the freeway. It was far superior to staying in a hotel for the length of time we needed housing. A well appointed kitchen and comfy bed were great at the end of each work day. Jessica was easy to work with and the stay was easy and seamless.

We spent 10 days in this 1BR and had a marvelous Thanksgiving trip. The Venetian is located close to I-5 which makes is easy and quick to get to all the tourist locales in the area. Facilities were modern and clean and we have no complaints with the arrangements.

The condo was beautifully kept and well stocked. It is in UTC and close to bus stops, grocery stores, movie theatres, malls etc. The beaches are a short drive away. I was there for work and stayed for almost three weeks. My stay was a pleasant and comfortable one. Much better and cheaper than staying at a hotel.

We visited a "show" unit prior to rental (I'm local & my folks come to visit from oversees), and it looked just like the pics on this website. Unfortunately, the unit we were given was nothing like the one we visited. Though it was well furnished & everything worked fine (it's great having internet) our unit (building 3915 unit#3) didn't have the pretty counter tops in the kitchen nor the bathroom, and DEFINITELY didn't have the luxury feel of what you can see on the pics. More like a cheap Ikea feel (and the TV was the size of my laptop screen). We did have to wipe behind the faucets in the bathrooms and there was was old food left in the freezer, but other than that (and the patio which had a tick carpet of hard dust and leaves!) things looked clean. This unit is also located at the entrance of the parking garage, a lot of come and go.. My parents rented for a whole month, I think it would have been logic/nice to put them in a unit with washer/dryer.. but no. They're 65yo and ended up washing clothes by hand for a month. Yes there are public machines (don't forget your bag of coins) but this is a big student complex.. you know how that goes. Also the side windows you see on the pictures did not exist in our unit. there was only one in the room and the patio door for the rest of the place.. The pool area is OK. When we were there the sitting area by the BBQs wasn't really usable area is ok, students everywhere. grocery store about 1mile away. beaches much fu

Fantastic Vacation Spot!

We came back to The Venetian again this year, and had just as great an experience as last year. The condo is very accomodating, the pool is perfect for laying out and relaxing, and the off-street parking is a major bonus. The cleanliness and presentation of the condo upon entering is top-notch, and really sets the mood for a wonerful time. Can't wait for next year! Thanks!

Very nice clean condo to stay at for the three of us. Better than a a three star hotel for the price. Location was very central. Pool and gym is nice to have. Wish TV was a little bigger in the living room. No Tv in the bedroom which I am used to. Only real complaint was the patio door blinds needs replacing but overall the three nights stay was very pleasant and enjoyable.

My husband and I really enjoyed the studio condo. Greeted by a lovely flower arrangement on the counter and soft music, a vacation mood was set. Perfect for two people. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is there was no reading light available in the bedroom area. We would certainly return again.

Great for the price

The size of this rental is pretty small but it is perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary trip. It would get pretty crammed with more then two in the studio we stayed at. The pipe under the sink was not all the way attached and we didn't find out until there was water all over the floor. Also we could not get the air conditioning to work while we were there. Good thing that it was beautiful weather in san diego and they had a fan in the room when it got muggy. Other then those two things it was great! It is really close to everything. The freeway, sea world, san diego zoo, shopping, grocery stores and the beach are all really close. Thank you for letting us come and stay!

This guest rented a studio, NOT a 1 Bedroom Rental, because that is all we had available at the time of their request to make a reservation.
We no longer have studio rentals at this location.
As far as the broken pipe, it's very likely that they broke the pipe under the kitchen sink, I assume by shoving the garbage can under the sink forcefully, then never told us about it. We discovered the break when the next guest came in and notified us of the needed repair. We had the pipe repaired right away. Water leaks must be repaired immediately to avoid water damage and we expect all guests to notify us immediately if there are ever any water leaks.

Nice place to stay

Overall a very nice place to stay. The location was great, easy access to everything. Only pitfall for us was no water pressure in kitchen sink, tub plug didn't work, and the toilet ran nonstop the entire week, despite hubby trying to fix it. But, these didn't prevent us from enjoying our stay... Beats a hotel!
Owner's reply:
If this guest had notified us of these issues we could have fixed them within 24hrs. When a guest chooses to not let us know something is not operating properly, there's not much we can do without proper communication. Her "Hubby" shouldn't have been trying to fix the toilet and obviously didn't know what he was doing. When toilets run all they need is a new flapper valve. It's a $10 part and a 5 minute repair, something I repair myself in rental units when they go bad, and after 15 years of property management it's just one of those simple things I've learned to do myself. The tub plug does work, had she notified me I would have happily stopped by her rental and showed her how to use it.
Our customer service is excellent and we want our guests to be very happy while staying with us. I tell ALL of my guests, as a part of our check-in process, that if they have any questions or problems to let me know anytime day or night.
This guest never let me know about items that could have been very easily remedied or communicated about and then wrote a review complaining, after the fact. It's a shame when people do this. Although the listing sites we advertise on force rental operators to post all reviews, atleast they give us one opportunity to respond to people's accusations and comments.
Her complaints are mild, however I feel really bad that she didn't let me know about these things so I could fix them for her.

Two-bedroom condo was great

My brother and I rented the two-bedroom (3 bathroom!) condo and it was just right for us. The bedrooms are each their own master suites with closets and full baths, which was good for us. We appreciated having laundry and cooking there, and the parking spot was right at the door. It is an attractive site, and comfortable suite. I would definitely recommend this place as excellent value, for people who don't need to be right on the beach or downtown, but do want to be near shops & highways. The only minor problem was that the air conditioning doesn't work well in the bedrooms. Otherwise, it was great.

My daughters and I enjoyed our stay at the Venetian. Our condo/apartment was ideal for our needs. The amenities are great - pool, spa, grounds, parking, security and the neighborhood. Shopping was easy - Ralphs, Trader Joes, Starbucks, Wholefoods. We were in very close proximity of everything we wanted to do - beaches - La Jolla, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Seaworld, Downtown San Diego.

Our stay at La Jolla Cove was extremely wonderful. The condo unit had all the amenites for my family of four. The condo was roomy, extremely clean, renovated and most importantly the best location. We visited Sea World, the Zoo, Legoland and downtown and we were situated right off the I-5 with close access to all sites. Our family of four really enjoyed the swimming pool and the nearby amenities including Whole Foods, Trader Joes and the 24 hr grocery store Ralphs. The brand new Pack & Play playpen was very useful I would highly recommend your unit and plan to return on a regular basis. Take care & thanks. Errol Toronto, Canada
