Great place to stay!, September 19, 2008
By D'Vorah (New York, New York)
I highly recommend staying with Yasmin & Bill in their beatiful rental spaces. The studio I rented was lovely, clean, homey and so comfortable. When I wasn't running around San Diego, I loved to just rest in the space. The studio has double doors that open onto a small private patio where you can lounge or dine. I got a tour of the two other 1-bedroom apartments, and they are beautifully yet simply decorated with full kitchens and bathrooms. Bill and Yasmin are great hosts - they were friendly and attentive to my needs even as they completely respected my privacy during my stay. The location is central to all fun spots in San Diego. Shakespeare's Pub and other inexpensive eateries are a few blocks away if you feel like walking to dinner or bring it back. The airport and car rental companies are all nearby as well. This was my first time renting a vacation studio and I didn't know what to expect, but I had a wonderful experience and will most definitely return!

COZY, SAFE, CONVENIENT, August 10, 2008
By Alex David (Toronto, Ontario)
My wife and I were looking for an economical way of getting to know a city with a place to crash and feel like we were residents rather than tourists. Goal achieved with this studio! Easy, no fuss, clean, superbly located. If your a low maintenance traveler, and just really need a place to crash that is safe and comfortable, this place is for you :-)

This studio apartment made me San Diego experience very pleasant. It was close to everything but felt like my own home. Great location, great place, all for a great value!

 Perfect stay, July 19, 2008

The appartment is perfectly equipped, we had a great time there. We didn´t miss a thing - there was even a Ralph´s saving card. We stayed there with a 5-month old baby and it worked out very well.

Great place, wonderful owners, December 8, 2007
By Marcus Tso (Vancouver, BC)
We had a great time staying in this cozy studio. It was a comfortable place about 10 minutes walk to the trolley station. The hill was rather steep, but it was a good daily workout. And it stopped being an issue once we had our rental car. Owners are super accommodating.
Owner Supplied Testimonials
"This place was wonderfully located. We used its location to the fullest. We did a lot of sightseeing and used the local travel accomodations even though we rented a car. For car owners/renters, just a tip make sure you crimp the wheels when parking on hills! We had never heard of that before and were ticketed. We will definitely stay there again when we go to San Diego if it is available. I would recommend going to The Shout in the Gaslamp Quarter for the dueling pianos. We really enjoyed that."
"Upon arriving at the studio, I was pleased to notice that it is exactly as described online. The landscaping surrounding the building is beautiful, and there is a pretty view from the front of the building. Yasmin greeted us immediately and was extremely polite, welcoming and helpful! :)

The studio is fairly small, but for two of us, was plenty of space. Everything was very clean and modern, and the linens and towels were of good quality. We especially enjoyed having a kitchen, including dishes and appliances. This really helped to save us money by allowing us to have a meal or two a day in the studio rather than eating out.

The private deck was a big plus, and the large TV was very nice. We also had more than enough closet and drawer space to unpack all of our clothes and belongings.

Most of all, we loved the location. There were some good restaurants and a pub just down the street, in walking distance. We made several visits to the Hillcrest neighborhood, which was only a 5 minute drive away and had some wonderful restaurants (Yasmin's suggestion.) Also very nearby were the zoo, downtown, numerous beaches and Old Town. We felt very safe in the neighborhood, and did not have trouble finding a parking space on the street.

We felt that staying at the studio was a great value, and would certainly reccomend it to others! :)"
"The place is small (just as advertised) but very comfortable. The bedding and towels are good quality (not thin or threadbare). The kitchen is well stocked with tableservice and utensils. Big TV was great. Location was great (short drive to Old Town, walking distance to some good restaurants and close to freeways - centrally located and it didn't take us long to get anywhere we needed to go). Never had any problems finding street parking (but hills are pretty steep and can be a bit intimidating). Yasmin and Bill were so kind, gracious and welcoming. Would definetely recommend!!"
"Absolutely fabulous vacation studio. Seems much bigger than it's actual size due to the enourmous amount of natural light it receives. Sliding glass doors to private deck also make the studio seem much larger.
The location is great - you're minutes to downtown, the beaches, Sea World, La Jolla, Coronado Island, etc
You can't find ANYTHING this nice, with a central location at this price.
