Description of the San Diego vacation home rental
Small, newly remodeled two bedroom, one bath house with backyard garden overlooking canyon. The house is fully furnished, immaculate, with a sunny kithchen, European tile bathroom, covered carport, washer and dryer. Cable, TV, linens, towels, etc. are provided.
The house is quiet in a very country like setting. Located in San Diego, 12-15 mintues away to downtown San Diego, Coronado, Balboa Park. Sleeps up to four, with lots of private outside room for children to play. $475 weekly/$75 cleaning deposit required. (summer rates higher-- please check with owner). Small pet would be considered.
Area Description
The area is residential, with shopping and the freeway only minutes away. Rolling hills and canyons, with a view of downtown, are part of the drive to the house.

Clean and Tidy with private off street parking. This location is perfect for me when I am in San Diego. It feels safe here. In a real neighborhood, not some fake tourist area. Local folks live around it.
Has a nice little private patio area with shade trees. Really feels like home to me. I will definitely stay here again! Nice n comfortable for week long stay, February 24, 2009

Our family had a wonderful vacation based in this home. It is small but cozy, and there was plenty of space to hang out and prepare meals. Access to downtown and family spots like Balboa Park and the Zoo was a breeze, and the owner made the whole experience very easy. A nice spot to visit and a great value. We enjoyed our visit to this quiet and quaint home. The neighborhood is an older one and was quiet and the home was convenient to many restaurants, places to grocery shop, rent videos, have ice cream etc. The home had all of the conveniences necessary for a week long visit and was well kept. The canyon view was somewhat lackluster but there was plenty of room for my son to play outside and chairs for me to read on in the evening. The location was also convenient to Balboa Park and Seaworld and the freeway was close to hop onto for the beach locations. The owner is pleasant and helpful and had great communication. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. We were so close to the zoo that we were able to come home for meals then go back again. It's a great location if you want to go to the San Diego Zoo or Sea World. The canyon view wasn't quite what we expected but the house had everything we needed. We got to meet the owner while vacationing and she is great. She was very helpful with our questions regarding which sites to see. It is certainly a great little house for a great price.
