Description of the San Diego vacation home rental

The Margerum House is a 5 year old new home just up the hill from Mission Valley. It is central to all of San Diego's attractions. It is nestled in a quiet upscale community across the freeway from San Diego State University in the Del Cerro area. Del Cerro like Mission Hills often has expansive canyon views. From this property one can almost see to the ocean. Sunsets are amazing and even though it is in the center of San Diego it has a country feel because this area has lots of open areas and the homes have large distances between each other. The family room, dining area, and master bedroom has a common deck that is eye level with many of the area birds, owls, and hawks that often fly by while you sit there to enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine.

This home is also fully equipped with granite counter tops, a large flat screen TV in the living room and cable and internet thought the home. Parking is either on the street or in the large 3 car garage. Laundry is in the home and each of the bedrooms are large in nature.

When you need to get to any of San Diego's major attractions you are only 15 or 20 minutes away from most of them because you are central to everything. From The Margerum House you can enjoy the Zoo, beaches, or the Night life of San Diego's big city or easily head east on Hwy 8 to the Viejas Casino about 25 or 30 minutes away going East on Hwy 8. The beach is a straight shot west on hwy 8 from the Margerum House. Then come home to a country like setting without going to the country to get some much needed rest and relaxation.

The Margerum House is only about a mile or 2 from Lake Murray where you can fish or bike around the lake. There is a golf course around the corner and hiking trails at nearby Cowles Mountain. Shopping, theaters, and all you need for buying all your creature comforts are in grocery stores just a mile away in any direction South, East, or West. Freeway 8 is very conveniently located near the Margerum House.
