Great location

July 31, 2013

The house was great and Bruce was very helpful and responsive when we needed something. The house was clean, had plenty of room for our family, felt very secluded, and we loved hanging out and relaxing in the pool and spa. We weren't sure about the location at first but it was perfect for what we needed. It was very close to all the attractions we wanted to see and any shopping we wanted or needed to do. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. If there was anything I would gripe about (and it wasn't a big deal), was that we had to keep resetting the hot water heater. Otherwise, it only took 30 secs to reset, but kind of annoying.

50th Celebration

September 27, 2012

A wonderful, fully appointed home, roomy enough for our family plus friends. It was the promo video that "hooked" us and it did not lie. The pool and water features are something out of "Rich and Famous". The home is 10 minutes from both the San Diego Harbor and airport. The expressways and shopping are super close. We visited the Maritime museum and spent hours at the Torre Pines Gliderport, fantasizing about hang gliding, The only (albeit small) complaint concerns the exiting the property. We had three cars and most times needed secondary supervision to back out of the driveway. Looking forward to another milestone when we can all be together in Point Loma.

As good as it looks!

July 3, 2010

Since we are 3 families with 4 young children we thought renting a house would be easier for our vacation than a hotel, and this place was so much better than anything we had imagined! Everything about it was beautiful, and it had everything we needed inside. The separate bedroom downstairs was perfect for the Grandparents (although no bathroom) and there was so much space everyone could do their own thing. The pool and jacuzzis were a dream. We hardly left the house the entire week! We had a bit of trouble with the hot water which was a pain, and the fussy neighbour meant we didn't use the BBQ area as much as we might have, but overall it was a fantastic time, certainly the best vacation we'd ever had and we will definitely be back!

Magical Vacation

March 23, 2010

Jan Storck (Stockholm, Sweden) and I spent a special weekend in this fabulous home. We loved watching the sun rise over the Coronado Bridge while sipping coffee in bed. The hot tub, the fireplaces, the privacy all added to our enjoyment.

No June Gloom!

July 13, 2009

Stayed here in early June 2009. House is located in perfect area close to EVERYTHING. Pool is awesome and the house was perfect for our group. The only minor complaint that I have is that the amenities in the house weren't great. The cooking utensils, pots, pans need an upgrade. There were minor repairs that the house could use as well BUT...not enough to keep me away again. I would rent again in a heartbeat. The Prop manager was great with communication and was available when we had questions/concerns. We had a great time.

Not as good as it looks

June 15, 2009

This house looks and sounds better than it is. One TV was broke, so we had just 1 for all 13 of us to share - not fun. The house smelled when we first arrived until we aired it out. The house had more scuffs and scrapes than it ought to. Dishwasher worked poorly, we re-washed anything we needed to use. This is more a bachelor's house than a family destination. For what we paid, we expected a better maintained home. It was adequate, but would not return.

False Advertising - Part 3

June 2, 2009

The neighbor next door approached us and informed us about the wild parties that are continually being held at the house. In an email to my husband from the property mgr, Sean, he admitted that he understood why we were angry since the condition of the house was unacceptable. It's unfortunate for your company that this occurred because we take several vacations during the year and would have used your svcs in the future if we were satisfied. We are both senior execs of companies with friends & associates who we would have recommended to rent this property and others; however it seems that no one cares about the condition of the property. It was a very disappointing trip and vacation and we feel we wasted our money. We came through on our part of the agrmt, and we didn't get what we paid for. In our opinion, vacation rentals did not meet their advertised obligation.

False Advertising - Continued

June 2, 2009

After 3 days, several emails and phone calls, the tv from the master bedroom was moved downstairs to the living rm. Master Bdroom tv was never replaced. After 5 days, the property mgr delivered paper towels & toilet paper delivered to the property (there was none upon our arrival). He promised to have carpets cleaned on the 6th day, and no one showed up. Never replaced the light bulbs in the living rm or bedroom because they said they didn't have a ladder. The hammock in the backyard was destroyed & finally removed on day 6. The garbage disposal which also didn't work was fixed on day 6. We had to clean the house, vacuum the floors, wash the dishes, buy toilet paper & paper towels to start our vacation. We should have our entire pymt refunded based on the condition of the house. See Part 3

False Advertising About Property

June 2, 2009

We rented this property for 8 days. It definitely wasn't a vacation as we had planned due to the condition of the property. When we walked into the front door the flat panel tv was gone from the living room, the majority of the light bulbs in the house were out, the door frame around the doors leading to the patio was broken, no towels in the bathrooms, the yards were a disaster, the hot tub by the pool did not work, the bbq grill was filthy and hadn't been cleaned for ages, the hot tub in the side yard was filthy and full of leaves, the front gate was broken and hanging on it's hinges, there were no screens on the windows, the carpets were filthy and stained and the patio off the master bedroom was falling apart. There was a bachelor party there the weekend before we arrived and the house was left in total shambles. It was disappointing to find out the property mgr, Sean and the owner, Mike, didn't know about the condition of the property prior to our arrival. Part 2 to follow.

family vacation

March 20, 2009

Point Loma Paradise worked out perfectly for our visit to San Diego. We managed to sleep everyone, feed everyone, be outside, etc. The grandchildren even swam in the unheated pool. The jacuzzi worked out well. The location worked out well for touring San Diego, plus the views from the upstairs balcony. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house.
