Nice place on the bay

We rented this condo for family that was coming in from out of town. The place was nice and everything was as promised, but would have preferred not sharing walls with the 2 other condos. Also, the place next door is under construction, covered in scaffolding and we got to listen to nail guns and tools during our 2 days during the week. The beds were comfortable, but most much too small for 2 adults (double beds). Naturally everyone wanted the one king bed. The master bedroom was amazing...tons of space, a balcony facing the bay, huge bathroom, huge closets and a ceiling fan which left everyone else feeling short changed. All the other bedrooms were tiny, especially considering they were listed to sleep 2 people. Enjoyed the bikes in the garage and the grill on the patio. There was a huge selection of DVD's but we didn't wind up watching any. Was very surprised/shocked to get the check out instructions stating that we needed to strip all the sheets, start a load of laundry, load and run the dishwasher plus take out all the garbages when we had to pay a $100 cleaning fee. Isn't that what it is for?? All in all it was a good place. Not as crazy as the real beach rentals. Would recommend that whoever stays in the downsairs bedroom should be the last to bed and the first to get up since the kitchen and dining areas are right next to it which is very noisy due to being all tile.

An excellent place to stay and a very good value

We spent 4 days at this property. It was very comfortable, providing everything we needed for a very fun vacation. It was a quick walk to the beach and provided a quiet respite from all the hustle and bustle of Pacific Beach. This vacation property was well stocked and provided everything we needed during our stay. It does not have central air conditioning, but facing the west, it was just a matter of opening the windows and getting the ocean breeze circulating throughout made it very comfortable.
