Our property (newly remodeled in 2006) offers 5 vacation residences (and pricing above reflects rates for different sized rentals): The St. Lucia, a two-bedroom suite, the Martinique, the Trinidad and the Tobago, all one-bedroom suites and the Bonaire, a romantic studio hideaway; each with its own charm, most with unbelievable ocean views and all within minutes to miles of white sandy beaches. Villa Caribe is close to all San Diego has to offer: 30 seconds from a rocky beach-explorer's playground, 2 minutes to the heart of Ocean Beach, 6 minutes to the charming village of old Pt. Loma, with its shops, restaurants and the San Diego Yacht Club, 10 minutes to Sea World, Old Town, the Gas Lamp District, the airport, shopping at Fashion Valley, 15 minutes to the world famous San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park and about 30 minutes to Legoland and the Wild Animal Park.

The southern Caribbean island of ST. LUCIA, locally known as "the fairest isle in all the world," is famous for its twin mountain peaks known as the Pitons (French for peak). It is these signature symbols that are the inspiration for Villa Caribe's two-bedroom suite - The St. Lucia. Situated at the western-most point of Villa Caribe, the ocean-front St. Lucia suite offers accommodations for six and spectacular views of color-splashed sunsets and miles of deep-blue ocean waves. The St. Lucia is also located just outside of Villa Caribe's sun-drenched patio, offering a BBQ area, ample patio furniture, the Villa's 6-person spa and unmatched pacific views.

MARTINIQE is an isle of French charm, cuisine and culture, and also the inspiration for The Martinique suite at Villa Caribe. Beautiful beyond words, Martinique captured the attention of Paul Gauguin, whose paintings are among the world's most prized treasures.

The twin-island Caribbean nation of TRINIDAD and TOBAGO is the inspiration for Villa Caribe's two second-story suites. The Trinidad and The Tobago each accommodate four persons and can be combined for a group of eight simply by opening the connecting door.

Located on Villa Caribe's second level, guests of The Trinidad & Tobago enjoy spectacular ocean views and are also invited to stroll down to the sun-drenched patio offering a BBQ area, ample patio furniture, a 6-person spa, and a small sandy beach area to enjoy cocktails and breathtaking views of the sunset.

To your left you'll find Sunset Cliffs Nature Park - a great place to spend the day exploring cliffs, caves and tide pools! Directly in front of you lies a spacious patio area with a convenient gas BBQ, a small sandy beach area to enjoy cocktails and the breathtaking views of the sunset - and, of course, miles and miles of deep blue ocean where we often see migrating whales, playful pods of dolphins and adventurous surfers. To your right is the casual seaside town of Ocean Beach. Stroll along Newport Avenue and take in the array of small shops and boutiques. From antiques to surfboards, sandwich shops to oceanfront fine dining and bars and taverns in between, Ocean Beach is friendly, informal and fun. In the evening, enjoy cocktails while listening to the surf, or take a romantic stroll on the famous Ocean Beach pier, and enjoy the lights of San Diego from the over-water restaurant. And be sure to catch the fireworks display from Sea World - only 10 minutes away! Villa Caribe has on-site laundry facilities, as well as laundry detergent all free-of-charge for our guests. We have 3 inside garage parking spaces and 1 outside off-street parking space. Our patio features a 6-person hot tub, patio table and chairs, BBQ, a grass area and a small sand area all overlooking the ocean. We also feature the following:
