Nice place to stay

We stayed 10 days in this nice appartment. Tess, the host is a very nice and helpful lady, the renting was very uncomplicated and all questions we had ahead were answered promtly and correctly. For two persons it is very spacious, for 5 adults probably not. It will take you about 15 minutes to the international airport and 15 minutes downtown by car. Public transport is near by, as well as nice restaurants, groceries and so on. It is a nice living area, tourists are more or less not seen there, we liked this very much, because so we had the chance to take part in normal life in this area. It was also great to have a little garden with a beautiful lemon tree. So far all appartments we had rented, had a poor equipped kitchen, but not this one.The price-performance ratio was very good as we think, friends stayed in Hilton, paid three times as much and did not even have a fridge in their room. We really can recommend this place. Thank you Tess Viola, Austria

Bernal Heights Apartment

We absolutely fell in love with this property. We stayed for 9 nights and not once were disappointed. There is a bus stop on the corner that connects with the BART and is only a 3-4 minute bus ride. The owners are truly nice people and the apartment is beautiful. The rooms are large, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, and the photo of the backyard doesn't do it justice once you see for yourself. It is absolutely gorgeous. I will recommend this property to everyone visiting the San Francisco area. It is in a beautiful, QUIET neighborhood and so close to transportation, not to mention the airport. This was a great experience and I am very grateful to the owners for helping make this trip one to remember.
Excellent place to stay

I highly recommend staying in this apartment - it's a really nice place in a great neighborhood: quiet, but with shops and restaurants nearby. The price was very reasonable and the owners are extremely kind. Thanks to them for a great stay. - Ben from New York
not what I was expecting

This apartment is not big enough to sleep 5, even though there are pull out couches. There is just not enough space for that many people. The couches are really uncomfortable to sit on so I can only imagine that they may be uncomfortable to sleep on. The apartment was not very clean, the carpets are old, stained and need a good clean and we had to wash many of the kitchen utensils before we could use them. The owner lives above and said that we could use the patio outside, however they have a dog and every time we stepped on to the patio the dog would start barking. This dog also barks sometimes at night, for a short time but enough to wake a light sleeper up!. Would not stay there again, it was average, thats about it really. The owner is very nice and helpful though!
I have been meaning to send this email for a couple of months and I apologize for the delay. We did receive the package and letter from you and appreciate you taking the time to send it. Also we wanted to say that we had a wonderful time in February. We loved the apartment and the ease of using the bus system and the bart. We were just out again last week however it was only for four days so we stayed right in San Jose which is about 15 minutes from my Daughter. We definitely want to stay in there again and are looking around October or November. We will be in touch. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.
Looking forward to staying again!
