Description of the San Francisco vacation home rental

Stay in an elegantly decorated yet comfortable Victorian flat in the middle of San Francisco for less than a hotel room. The flat has two large bedrooms;one with a fireplace. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has two singles which can be converted into a queen. The large living room looks upon beautiful Buena Vista Park and towards downtown San Francisco. There is a dining area located alongside the atrium.
The living room has a queen sized pull out couch. There is satelite television with a video and DVD player. There are two full bathrooms and a kitchen.
The yard is large and professionally landscaped with a gazebo looking towards the ocean.
The flat is a hot spot for wireless and there is a copier, fax machine, and computer available. The flat includes one parking space. Public transportation, restaurants and shopping are nearby. We are walking distance from Golden Gate Park.
This is a perfect space for families or groups travelling together. It is ideal for those attending a celebration in the area.

Area Information

Casa Buena Vista is located directly across the street from one of San Francisco's most beautiful parks. There is a wonderful children's playground a block away. The exciting Haight Ashbury neighborhood is just a few blocks away with its numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities. The Cole Valley neighborhood is also close by. Public transportation is extremely convenient with five busses within a two block walk. It takes ten to twelve minutes by public transport downtown. The jewel of the park's system, Golden Gate Park is a six block walk from the house. The new De Young Museum is also within walking distance.

Beautiful Buena Vista Park is across the street from our flat. There is a large backyard with a tetherball court and a gazebo. Randall Junior Museum is a short wall from the flat.

Enjoyed our stay Pictures inside property are good representations the place is full of character and charm.Great neighborhood painted ladies only short walk away.We rented a car but often had to scout out a parking spot 1 or 2 blocks away when returning in the evening (no parking pass required).There are 3 flights of stairs with maybe 20 stairs a flight which are steep and narrow which made hauling luggage difficult. We didn't utalize the kitchen much so avoided lugging groceries up the stairs. If your relatively fit the charming apartment is well worh the climb. If your elderly or have any difficulty with stairs you should reconsider.

Our family stayed here for three days. The flat was as advertised. We had a car with us. It was convenient drive to all of San Francisco, and the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge. We did not use public transportation, but there were buses close by.

We loved staying in this clean, comfortable, well stocked condo. The view was fantastic, and if was all but inside the Tetons. The condo was nicely furnished, and had plenty of towels, utensils and kitchen supplies. Having a laundry room on our 35 day trip was a must - and this one was well stocked. There is a huge selection of books, blueray dvds, and even bear spray for hikiing. When we arrived, there was a darling miniture tepee filled with snacks. The condo is 10 mins from the town of Jackson. The only drawback is that it is an hour or so from yellowstone, but it is a beautiful ride and right in the heart of the Tetons. Would definitely stay again!

What a perfect place to spend Christmas! We loved it!! We even brought in a fresh Christmas tree! Jan was great and very helpful! Highly recommend staying in this Victorian....location was great and being across the street from Buena Vista Park a treat!
