Description of the San Francisco vacation home rental
This bay area “wine country living” estate is located in the East Bay hills of Castro Valley on approximately 1.25 acres. It is the perfect rental for executives and longer term vacationers.
As you approach the house, entry will be through a private gate with a driveway along the vineyard. Enter the house to a formal entryway with travertine stone flooring and a twenty-three foot ceiling, with elegant lighting and an impressive curved staircase with wrought iron balustrades. There is a holiday sized dining room that can easily seat 8 to 10 guests. Enjoy the spacious Great Room with large fireplace. The Kitchen is a chef’s delight and is open and welcoming. Stainless steel appliances including a 6 burner Viking cooktop with Thermador overhead vent, dishwasher, built-in microwave, trash compactor, and built-in refrigerator. Black granite slab countertops. Cinnamon stained maple cabinetry.
In addition, there is an office on the first floor along with a large Family Room/Den that can be be closed off with double doors. There is a full bathroom as well as a half bath downstairs. To top it off there is also a delightful front courtyard to enjoy the views from out front and a covered patio in the back with deck above spanning the back end of the house.
On the second floor is the huge Master bedroom with deck spanning the entire back of the home. Savor the bay views, that of the city, or even the hills in luxurious privacy. Enjoy the double sided fireplace in the bedroom or by the large soak tub in the master bath. This lavish bathroom also includes a large glass block shower with double shower heads, his & her sinks, and separate toilette room.
Bedroom 2 has a private bath and with views of the hills.
Bedroom 3 has views of the vineyard, hills, and bay.
Bedroom 4 shares a jack-n-jill bath with bedroom 3.
You won’t walk too far to the laundry room. It is conveniently located on the second floor. Just outside the laundry room on the veranda you can enjoy the vineyard and hills views.

This estate is located in a private & serene setting in the hills of Castro Valley, San Francisco's east bay area. Priceless panoramic views of the San Francisco bay, hills, city and more. Experience the comfort of the country while being about a mile from shopping and highway 580, plus minutes from BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). There is lots of free parking. Enjoy miles of hiking trails, fishing at Chabot Lake, or a round or two of golf at the nearby golf courses. The Oakland zoo is about 20 minutes away. Our location is central for easy trips to San Francisco, Pleasanton, Fremont, Santa Cruz, Carmel, Half Moon Bay and more. If you are looking for wine tasting trips, Napa Valley & Sonoma Valleys are about an hour away. The Livermore wine valley is about 20 minutes away.
