Description of the San Francisco vacation villa rental

Casa Melissa sits on a point above the azure Pacific with incredible 180 degree views of the coastline. With the heated infinity swimming pool and private lighted tennis court, Casa Melissa offers the perfect vacation for relaxing or activity.

Enjoy a drink on the terrace and watch the rays, whales and dolphins swim by. With maid service, a cook and a whole house water purification system, Casa Melissa has all the conveniences but in a beautiful tropical setting. The small fishing town of San Francisco (called San Pancho by the locals) offers a glimpse of what Puerto Vallarta was 30 years ago.

The Casa Melissa property includes the 4 bedroom 3 bath house and a 5th bedroom Casita. The casita is never rented to anyone other than the group in the main house.

All of Casa Melissa's 4 bedrooms have ocean views and air conditioning. In fact all rooms but one bathroom have ocean views!
The casita has an ocean view terrace overlooking the tennis court.

Just 40 minutes from the airport and the resorts of Puerto Vallarta, it is easy to take advantage of the fabulous restaurants and night life there while relaxing in this private, peaceful setting.

Area Information

San Pancho boasts several fabulous restaurants, both on the beach and in town. They include an award winning Ola Rica and its beach cousin La Playa, a high end Mar Plata with its refrigerated wine cellar and imported beef, and the delicious Organic Bistro.

There is a mile long sandy beach great for walking. Other than the major holidays you have the beach to yourselves.

There are also great, strenuous jungle hikes. bird watching tours, kayak trips and of course surfing and snorkeling nearby. There is even a newly opened golf course in town!

Drive 30 minutes south to swim with the dolphins, or 30 minutes north to see ancient petroglphs. Bird watching, jungle hiking or horseback riding available. There is a yoga studio in town and you can arrange to have a massage at the house if you wish.
Several excellent restaurants in the town of San Pancho, from Mar Plata with its Argentinian beef to Ola Rica with its fabulous regional food.
Bedrooms - three of the bedrooms can be made into king sized beds or two twins. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have ocean views.

Best vacation site ever!

Stayed at Casa Melissa for a birthday vacation with three couples. The view, pool, house and stay were beyond expectations! All were transfixed by the property and never doubted that this vacation would live with us forever. Great food, helpful staff and faithful communication before the trip made for a near flawless experience.

I just wanted to send a note and let you know that our time at Casa Melissa was wonderful and so relaxing. The view from the house is so incredible that we couldn't even think about leaving the house . . . so we pretty much stayed at the house the entire time. My mother, brother and sister-in-law are fortunate to still be there even though I had to return home.

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our visit to Casa Melissa and all of your hospitality while we were here. We also loved all of the great meals that Yeyo prepared for us.
The mattress in the master bedroom was sooo comfortable. I could not tell what brand it was though - do you have any idea? I would love to get one for home. I don't think that I have slept that good in months. Of course, the waves helped.

The weather is fabulous here, 86 degrees out and Isabel had everything so nicely done as usual. We have been playing 2-3 sets every morning, so we are getting our exercise. My favorite part, reading the rest of the afternoon by the pool. Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous spot with us. We had a wonderful meal at San Pancho CafÃ© last night. We really enjoy the musicians there. Eating in tonight and playing bridge.
