Second, we just love San Jose del Cabo. It is truly the "quieter Cabo", with the beauty and charm found only in an authentic Mexican village. Everything you need can be found here. You can shop till you drop, or just sit in a quiet street cafe with your favorite beverage and watch the world go by.
The culture and hospitality you find in San Jose is very refreshing and you'll soon fall in love with this wonderfully walkable village and its people.
Golf enthusiasts have only to look across the street for the newest in world class golf resorts. The Nicklaus Design Club Campestre offers spectacular views of both the Sea of Cortez and nearby mountains accented by manicured fairways and greens. And there are many other fine resort golf courses just a short drive in either direction of the Coral Baja.
For the more adventurous, we recommend to you some very exciting excursions in and around San Jose del Cabo. Sea of Cortez fishing trips can be found at the new marina, whale watching, ATV desert tours, the fabulous zip-line and bungee jumping excursion, and half day desert Tom Car adventures are all found nearby. And of course, there is much, much more.
Let's not forget, the Coral Baja also offers its own share of fun. Daily poolside activities are offered throughout the week, and beach volley ball is always a hit. Early morning or sunset horseback riding on the beach begins right at the resort and first class surfing is just a short walk away.

Spring Break at the Coral Baja
April 16, 2012
We spent a week at the Coral Baja and had a great time. The one bedroom apartment on the fifth floor was beautiful and had great views. The Coral Baja staff was nice and helpful. Great place for a family vacation. We can't wait to go back!

Perfect vacation place!
March 16, 2009
We had the most enjoyable stay at Coral Baja. Fantastic pool and pool bar. Temp.of pool was perfect. Very intimate resort unlike most in Cabo San Lucas. San Jose del Cabo was a lovely town that hasn't been totally spoiled yet by tourism. Couldn't speak more highly of the staff also at Coral Baja. Just got back to Australia today and couldn't wait to put my review in writing. We will be back. Thanks.
Great Value / Great Vacation
April 29, 2008
My husband & I stayed here for 10 days and will definitely return in the future. Although we weren't in our room that often, it was a nice haven to return to at the end of each day. It was also well equipped with the little touches of things like a beach umbrella and a cooler to take to the beach for a picnic lunch. The resort was better than expected with a wonderful pool, restaurant, beach views and entertainment in the evenings. In fact, we only left the resort for 2 days out of our 10 we were there.
Spring Break Getaway
April 7, 2008
Coral Baja is a wonderful resort and the condo was very comfortable. We especially loved the deck and the beautiful scenery. The sunrises were spectacular!
Second year at Coral Baja and loved it again. Very well run resort. Every morning I had my coffee on the balcony at 7am and just admired the view. Simply amazing. Nobody out and about at this time except the crews that clean the grounds, the pool, prepare the restaurant, and rake the beach in front of the pool. Couldn't believe somebody raked the sand every morning!!! This place is so looked after! The Mama Mia restaurant on site is very casual and has very good food. The waiters and servers are friendly and speak good enough English if you don't understand Spanish. Special shout out to Luis who always looked after us and made our cadalac margaritas sooooo good. If you have kids, the pool is a great area for them to have fun. There is always something going on there for them. Tip though: get out there by 9:30am and put your towel on some lounges otherwise it gets pretty packed. Same for the 10 or so palapas on the beach, there are 20 or so lounges out there and they are in demand......9am would be better. Beach is clean and soft, you can walk in barefeet, and the crashing waves is a sound I can never get tired of. If you want to try some other good restaurants, Zippers down the beach to the right is a 15 min walk, and right in front of the Coral Baja La Salsa surprised us and we had a spectacular meal there on our last night. Will go there more then once next year. I personally went to the Coral Baja to relax and unwind from the stresses of a busy life,,,,just to chill and meet other happy people. Mission accomplished. Also, special thankyou to Pat for her helpful tips, and the coupons you sent us for various things. The one on giving the front desk your credit card imprint and they laminate a card with your room number etc on it was a beauty. Sometimes trying to figure a bill out in pesos, with 5-6 people etc can be interesting, and the tip???? As soon as you give them the card...boom....they are back with a receipt, you sign it and go. You can leave your credit card and money in your room. Oh, also, money exchange at check in desk as well....you have to have your passport and can only exchange money for money. Cabo is only a 30 min bus ride away, but only did that once. All this talk.....I wanna go back. Sigh.
Review #7764359 "Best vacation we have had in years!"
Our fabulous vacation at Coral Baja was all that was promised and then some. The weather was perfect, the property was lovely, and the facility was extremely well maintained. We are booking for next year now! Sue and Bill
Your condo was just great. It was very comfortable, the kitchen was well fitted out, and the view from the balcony, just terrific. All in all, your condo was all that we hoped it would be, and we'll be recommending it to any of our friends who want to go to Cabo.
Coral Baja was the best! The staff at the desk and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful beach! The unit was clean and comfortable with fabulous views of the water and morning sunrise. We enjoyed San Jose del Cabo and the great restaurants, very quaint shops.
We had a great time over Christmas and New
Years! The kids had lots of fun in the pool
and on the beach. The resort staff were all
friendly and helpful, and the unit was
comfortable for all of us. Getting around was
relatively convenient using the bus. No problems and would do this again.
This condo was very comfortable. The view of the ocean from the balcony is beautiful. You can watch what's going on at the pool from the balcony too. It is furnished well. Car rental on site is convenient but expensive. Fiesta night at Mama Mia's is very fun.
