Description of the San Jose Del Cabo vacation condo rental

***Our condominium is completely furnished with hand carved, locally-made furniture and wood work. The walls are washed in warm traditional colors while the floors and counter-tops are accented by hand-made tiles. The kitchen is completely outfitted with all the modern appliances that you would expect...including a washer, dryer and dish washer. The living room has a convertible sofa that can accomodate 2 adults. The bathroom features a roomy shower, but as in most Mexican residences, there is no bath tub. In the bedroom you'll find a comfortable queen-size bed and there is ample closet space for extended stays.
***Our unit is on the top floor of Villa 5 which is directly next to the pool and Grand Palapa. Being that it is on the top floor, our terrace offers you sweeping vistas from Punta Palmilla all the way up to Punta Gorda, and the Sea of Cortes view is nearly completely unobstructed. Plus the golf course affords you the luxury of intimacy and seclusion at any time of day. And with 780 sq.ft. of living space you will find it to be a relaxing place to unwind after a day at the beach or exploring the back-roads of Cabo.
***The apartment is located within The Peninsula Condominiums. The Peninsula rests at the end of a cul-de-sac and is surrounded on 3 sides by The Grand Mayan Los Cabos golf course. It is a PRIVATE and GATED community of only 63 condominiums. It's exterior spaces are landscaped with an abundant amount of flowering Bougainvillea and many species of fruit-bearing trees. The feeling is relaxed, lush and tropical. The common areas are welcoming and inviting. Our Grand Palapa is furnished with barbecues and ample seating areas. Adjacent to the Grand Palapa is our heated infinity-edged pool which is complete with showers and rest-room facilities.

***The Peninsula is conveniently located to everything. It is directly across the street from the ocean, within a 5 minute walk to Mega and within a 15 minute walk to downtown San Jose. Although a car isn't necessary, I would definitely recommend renting one. Then you will be able to take advantage of so many wonderful Baja activities.
***There is an abundant amount of attractions and activities for you to enjoy in San Jose del Cabo. A sea turtle release program is available at The Estuary on the beach in front of The Presidente Hotel. There is horseback riding on the beach. If you like massages, you can enjoy one on the beach in front of the Royal Solaris while listening to the relaxing sound of the waves.
***Along the Boulevard Mijares in downtown San Jose are shops and restaurants. The town plaza features newly re-designed fountains, a gorgeous colonial Mission, and a Cultural Center. In the evening everyone meets here before dinner or to socialize with their friends. We also have an amazing Art District. The galleries vary widely...from paintings to jewelry to sculpture to textiles to primitive hand-crafts...there is something for everyone. Visit Old Town Gallery on Thursday evenings and join in the fun of the weekly 'Art Walk' that tours the entire district.
***At the marina in Cabo San Lucas you can 'Swim with the Dolphins', grab a burger at The Hard Rock Cafe or enjoy a steak at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Right next to the marina shop the Puerto Paraiso Mall for unique gifts...or stroll through the newly added 'Rodeo Drive' section of the mall and find the souvenir of your dreams. Visit the zoo up in Santiago (about 40 minutes past the airport).
***On the East Cape take a 45 minute drive up to Cabo Pulmo and snorkle or dive one of the largest coral reefs in North America. Breath-taking!!! On your way back, have lunch at The Crossroads Country Club...the fish tacos are a national treasure and the cervezas are ice-cold. You like adventure? Great! Cabo Canopy at Costa Azul offers some pretty awesome zip-lining and rapelling. Go surfing at Costa Azul. Big Tony's (next to Zippers) will rent you a surf board right there on the beach. Then enjoy a burger and watch the game on a big-screen TV at Zippers.
***Take a day trip and head up the Pacific coast to Todos Santos. The town is just miraculous! On your way up to T.S. you can go off-roading through the dunes with a Baja Buggy. And DO NOT forget to stop at Art & Beer. Order a House Special Michalata. It's a spicy Bloody Mary that is so loaded with shrimp & clams you'll think you died and went to heaven.
