Wonderful condo in a wonderful location. Very comfortable condo with all of the amenities. Overlooking 4 surf spots! Every morning I walked right off the property into the surf. Next door to a great restaurant/bar (Zippers) on the beach where we saw a Sea Turtle lay its eggs. Amazing! Also within walking distance to three other restaurants. Our host was very accommodating. She was available by phone and lives close by if there was to be a problem. There was even freshly baked browns waiting for us upon our arrival.

The unit was great. Right on the beach overlooking surfer's paradise. Well appointed, everything worked! La Marea across the street is a great restaurant. Zippers has a great location on the beach but only so-so food. Take a trip to Hotel El Ganzo in La Playita and go to the roof top bar. Pretty cool. A great restaurant right across the street, it was called La mis-something(too many margaritas!). New and delicious. I had the best Dorado I've ever tasted...Welcome brownies were a treat. Thank you again. Loved it!!!!

Everything was great. The other reviews tell the story. The owners left brownies for us, and even called to make sure we didn't need anything.

Review #7713835 Girls' Getaway for Two

We stayed at the Las Olas condo about 3 weeks ago and it truly was a "piece of paradise". This was our first time renting a vacation spot and to our pleasant surprise, the condo and location gave us exactly what we had hoped for, some R & R in a beautifully renovated condo! I arrived a day earlier than my friend and was welcomed by Ms. Joanne's delicious brownies and an AWESOME view of the ocean. The view and sound of the water was unbelievable. I spent most of the day watching the surfers and reading a book on the balcony. The noise from the main road was not a problem for me..I didn't even use my earplugs. The neighbors were pleasant and the complex was pretty quiet during the day/evening. We didn't see any whales, but the fireworks were a cool treat. The condo had everything we needed during our stay and on the second day, we took a taxi to the Mega store and stocked up on food/snacks. We cooked most of our meals, which made our stay more enjoyable....it was a "home away from home" experience. The keyless entry was a plus, because we didn't have to worry about any extra keys. As stated by other reviews, Zippers was overpriced and the food was just 'OK'. We also had dinner at the Cabo Hotel, and it was just 'OK'. I was disappointed in the service received at the restaurants, next time I plan to frequent the local restaurants because I heard the service and quality of food is much better....we shall see:) My only complaint is the security guard was missing from his post most nights and that was frustrating because we didn't have a car and wanted him to call us a cab. We pretty much stay at the condo for most of our trip and spent one day in Cabo, which was super fun!!! Overall, my stay was great & memborable and I plan to visit again in the near future!! I would recommend Joanne and Steven's condo in a heartbeat. They are very nice and personable...answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns we had during our stay. They truly made us feel welcomed in their space. Thank you both for sharing such a beautiful unit with other vacationers. I wish you both all the best!!!

.We just returned from a much needed vacation and stayed one week at Las Olas. Joanne and Steven were great to work with and the Condo was perfect! It's on the fifth floor so the views are incredible, the king size bed very comfortable, the furnishings top notch and tastefully designed. It's about 700 sqft or so, so not huge, but You have everything you need in this condo--towels, beach umbrella, condiments to cook with, dishes, a nice variety of pots and cooking utensils, propane BBQ, shampoo, hair dryer, iron, washer and dryer, and work out room downstairs. It's perfect for two people, but noticed the couch made into a bed and there was an aero bed in the closet so it could accommodate more but would be a tight fit. It's secure with 24hr security and everyone we met was very nice and friendly. Surfing, paddle boarding right out front, Zippers a short walk for delicious food and surf rentals, the grocery store is nearby and over 6miles of beach to walk on. The pool was clean and just the right temperature and the lounge chairs were comfortable. Whales can be seen this time of year so that was like icing on the cake. We would sit out on the deck and read our books and watch the whales. That doesn't happened every day!
The Road noise was a non issue for us as you couldn't hear it except when entering the unit and if you went to bed early. It dies down by ten, is barely noticeable on the deck or down by the pool. But it is there.
Over all this is a great unit, loved the location, close to everything, you will need a car or plan to use the bus tho, it's very quiet, mature guests, no loud music or partying people. The grounds are beautiful and the condo owners are easy to work with. We felt right at home here. We would recommend this unit and look forward to staying next year. Joanne made us Brownies upon our arrival, it was a very welcoming gesture and was a big hit with my husband, they were the best! If only I could get the recipe...

.This is a really nice condo for the money and location! Itâs on the fifth floor and really looks like the pictures. The furnishings are nice and the view is fantastic. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the ocean. While enjoying our meals or drinks we saw many whales off in the distance, boats passing, surfers, stand up paddle boarders, etc. Bring your binoculars!! There are sweet little finches and sparrows who visit the balcony in the mornings. The hot tubs by the pool are lovely and the people in the other condos are friendly and mature. This is a smaller complex so it feels more like home than a hotel. Zippers beach bar and restaurant is right down the beach. You can walk for miles down the beach past the big condo complexes if you wish. This unit is closer than any of them to the sea. The beach in front almost disappeared at high tide. We cooked all our breakfasts and several dinners at home and there are ample pots and pans available. The bed has a thick memory foam pad and was really comfortable. There is a very handy little washer/dryer-you donât need to bring much. The beach towels are huge and there is an umbrella. We left a little soft cooler for beer or lunch. We rented snorkel gear across the road at the surf shop but Joanne told us they will probably provide some soon. We found the owners to be friendly and helpful. They live in Cabo so are available for questions and help. Joanne left us a very nice sweet treat that we enjoyed for days. If you want to be close to the ocean for a very reasonable price, you will like this condo.

.I am delighted to give the highest rating to this rental. The owner was most helpful and the listing description accurate. The location was ideal but we did find it helpful to have a rental car. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relations .Lots of of first rate restaurants close by and many more in San Jose 's colorful and friendly village.

.Joanne and Steven were beyond accommodating! Excellent location with a local, relaxed feel. Steps to a beautiful beach- wonderful people all around. Gas grill was a great addition for us. Condo had everything we needed.
Eat at Rossy's taco's & Los Claros downtown San Jose; get ceviche under the overpass if your into ceviche. Skip Zippers- overpriced and fish tacos are no good. Thank you Joanne and Steven!!
