A small, well-preserved community tucked between Seattle, Vancouver BC and Victoria BC. It's a year-round destination, accessible only by ferry or seaplane. It's a place where kayaking, biking and walking is as common as driving. The historical seaport town of Friday Harbor where one can indulge in the fine collection of art galleries, different types of eateries, coffeehouses, movie theater, and museums is only 3 miles away from home.
A short walk to the edge of University of Washington's Biological Reserve; where you can stroll through giant trees, detour off the trail and check out the beautiful pristine shoreline on your way to Friday Harbor (only 3 miles away).
There is so much to see, do, and experience on this beautiful 50 square mile island. My family and I have been coming up here for 27 years and it never ceases to amaze me.

We had a wonderful experience in a beautiful, cozy home. Everything was provided- bedding, kitchen set up, etc, and the house easily slept the 5 of us with room. The view was beautiful and we especially enjoyed BBQing on the deck. Our experience arranging the rental was effortless. I would absolutely stay here again; fabulous experience on an adorable island!

This home is super clean, super comfortable, and well appointed. Lovely view. We especially loved feeding the deer. The barbecue and pizza oven are awesome. The home itself is just gorgeous. I'm not sure who is doing the renovations but they are really well done. There were 4 adults and 2 kids in our party and we had plenty of room. I understand that the kitchen is really where people hang out in a home, but the only fault I could see is there isn't much of a living room and there is only the one couch in there. If you could possibly fit a little more comfy seating in there, it would be great. Overall though it's great and I would recommend it wholeheartedly. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the quiet surroundings. The only request I would add is instructions for the TV set-up, we eventually figured it all out and enjoyed the movies you have at the house. Thank You so much for the use of your home. Brenda Rhodman

We had a wonderful time staying here. There was plenty of room for ourselves and our 4 children. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evening and watching the sun set while enjoying a glass of wine. We also looked forward to daily visits from the family of deer. We would love to return!

Wonderful house; quiet, beautiful, nicely kept. Deck was great to relax on after a day of bike riding. Close enough to Friday Harbor for a bike, but would need a car or cab otherwise (too far to walk). Could use another medium size sauce pan and fry pan (we do love to cook), but we managed ok. Will definitely book this property again.

We travelled to Friday Harbor with 5 adults and an infant and this house was perfect for us. It had plenty of space and everything we needed in the kitchen to make some family meals. The view is great and it's very quiet and relaxing at the house. We also were visited by the deer others had mentioned. Very friendly! Great trip.

Three moms along with our college daughters travelled out for a long weekend for some rest and relaxation. Spent many enjoyable hours on the extended deck with the beautiful view, had fun exploring the island, and got a kick out the nightly visit from the deer family (the two fawns are absolutely adorable!). Enjoyed the cabin, great layout, all the amenities we could need, and the nightly campfire chats. Great place...we may try to make this an annual thing!

For the price we paid (~230/day including cleaning fee, taxes, ...), we got a great home. When we reached the home we were greeted with deer in the lawn. The home is covered with trees and is very private. It has great decks, and the design of the interior was real good. The owner seems to be genuinely a nice, honest and a caring guy. -srikumar

It was exactly what we needed. We went to get away and just relax and that is exactly what we did. We sat out on the deck and watched the ferries go by and enjoyed the sunshine. The place is spacious and nicely decorated and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit!

We will be going back that's for sure. We took our exchange students to this house for rent, as we showed them the islands. Need to go back without kids next time! The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and spacious. The surrounding area is so peaceful and tranquil, you wont want to leave. Thank-you for the great trip.

This was a very clean, quiet, cozy place to spend the weekend. With Roche Harbor, beaches, downtown and so much more being so close to town, we picked the perfect spot! A nice walk into town is very possible as well! Had a great time, will go back many times.
