The apartment is conveniently located in the fashionable Isla Verde district of San Juan, center of the city's beautiful beachfront and vibrant nightlife. It has easy access to all the area attractions.
The Living room has floor to ceiling french doors opening to the view and balcony. The unit has a queen sized bed on the bedroom and a sofa futon on the living room accommodating up to 4 adults comfortably.
It comes furnished with linens, towels, kitchen equipment, stereo, cable TV, VCR, air conditioner, and free local phone.
In addition, the building has 24 hour security and fully enclosed private pool and recreational areas. A key is required to enter and exit the compound. There is a designated underground parking spot and laundry room facilities with coin operated washers and dryers.
Isla Verde is one of the main tourist area of San Juan and home to many casinos, fine restaurants, grocery stores, tourist shops, all within walking distance. If you're ready to explore, the unique shopping, sights, cuisine and sizzling nightlife of Old San Juan are just minutes away.
There is a Cyber Cafe and Walgreens nearby. Taxis and buses are always available on the "main drag".

We had a more than pleasant stay with two small kids. Right in front of one of the best beaches in PR and conveniently located in front of Walgreens, restaurants, discos, shops, nearby supermarket and gas stations on one of the most visited avenues. Apartment was just perfect, cozy and had everything we needed and more. We recommended to our friends
This apartment was just like a hotel resort, except cleaner and more private! With access to a pool, basketball courts, security, cable and a less populated part of the beach, it had all the ameneties of a hotel. I stayed here with three friends for our spring break and it was the perfect price in a great location. The beach at Isla Verde is clean and swimmable. I would highly recommend this apartment for families and young vacationers alike.
I have recently returned from vacation at this rental. It was wonderful! Old San Juan is too far to walk but there is a bus, A5, which picks-up right outside the building from 8am until about 11pm. Take the bus heading to your right on the same side of the street as the apt. I never had to wait for more than 1/2 hour going or coming back. The fare was 75 cents each way. Cabs are very expensive in Puerto Rico, about $20.00 from Old San Juan and $15.00 from Condado. The drivers never seem to use the meters. To save a few dollars, I often used the bus to go into town in the evening and paid for a taxi home.
I also used the bus to go to Condado and Ocean Park. The stop is 6 or 8 blocks from each destination but safe to walk. A good map will come in handy just to get your bearings the first day or two.
For a few days, I rented a car to explore other parts of the island from "Charlies" car rental, across from the unit. The price was about $42.00/day with taxes and insurance. If you rent a car from Charlie, you can get a free shuttle to the airport around the clock, any day.
I walked along the beach several times to Condado. It took a little more than 40 minutes. A few times along the way, I had to use the street because of rocks, fences etc. But I felt completely safe.
Isla Verde is a very self-contained town. There are restaurants, salons, bars and other conveniences. I didn't feel the necessity to go into San Juan or Condado each evening.
Next to the rental unit is a wonderful open air bar called the Water Club, located on the roof of a hotel. There are overstuffed sofas and great views of the beach. It has been featured in Conde Nast Traveler magazine as an "in" place to be. The crowd was swank, the music was very New York, sevice was friendly and the lite-fare was good.
Also, in the area is a cock-fighting arena. It is a legal sport in Puerto Rico. Interesting to see, once! Next to the club is a wonderful Cuban restaurant which should not be missed.
I would go back anytime!
Great location, great price! We were in the heart of everything, good food, bars, beaches etc. We didn't need a car.
Very secure and clean place. We have paid more and received far less. We will be back next May!
