Description of the San Juan vacation apartment rental
The building is very secure. A key is required to enter. The elevator also is keyed. There is a laundry room on the ground floor of the building with coin operated washers and dryers.
Walk to everything... the beach, restaurants, boutiques, car rental, Walgreens, and more. Take 15 minutes cab drive from the airport or to the Old San Juan and you can take the bus for $1.00. Bus stops right across the street.
If you're going to rent a car, please bear in mind that along with the convenience of our great location, parking is something you need to plan for.
We do not have on-site parking, and off-site parking is not included in our room rates. For more parking information you can call me. There is a $1.00 per hour excellent parking across the street with full view from the balcony.
The Condado area is the main tourist area of San Juan and home of perhaps the most popular, and well maintained, beach in Puerto Rico and to many casinos, fine restaurants, grocery stores, tourist shops, all within walking distance, and a 10 minutes drive to Old San Juan and close to the highways that will get you to the rest of Puerto Rico.

Cozy, clean, hospitable, great location!

Stayed here with my boyfriend for three days and we loved it. The building is secure (you need to use your key to enter, and to activate the elevator) and the apartment is clean and cozy, with nice little touches (a wine bar, maps, shampoo, some kitchen basics like salt, baskets, tupperware, aluminum foil, etc...). There were towels, blankets, pots, pans, etc.-- anything you'd need for a stay. Also not listed in the description-- there's an oven! We loved walked around the neighborhood-- it's a trendy area with lots of restaurants and shops. Beach is only one block away. We found free parking on the street every time we needed it. JJ was the best part: I asked him about gyms in the area and he gave me several listings and phone numbers. He even left us a blender, beach chairs and small cooler on request. He was very laid back, friendly, accommodating, and quick to answer emails! If you're considering this one, do it! It's a great price. We'd definitely stay here again. Thanks JJ!

Wonderful, clean, affordable place!

My wife and I had a great time visiting Puerto Rico and having a great place to relax made the trip even more enjoyable. We did not even need to rent a car as our place was close enough to walk to eat and get transportation to where ever we went during the week. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to the island.

The owner JJ is great, he picks you up at the airport, it's aprt of his hospitality. The place has a nice bed, TV and a clean bathroom and kitchen with microwave, stove, freezer and a separate refrigerator. What else would you want? Did I say JJ the owner is great?

A Great Vacation

I visited Puerto Rico from 7/24/12 to 8/2/12. The apartment was very suitable. It had what I needed to make my stay a good one. It was safe and clean. The residents who live within the building were pleasant whenever I encountered them in the elevator. There was always a hello, good morning or good bye. I did not feel like a stranger at all. I did not rent a car but everything I needed was within walking distance such as super market, restaurants, and the different beach sites. Ocean Park was my favorite. I enjoyed walking around the Condado area and eating great food. I learned to take the local buses which allowed me to visit Old San Juan; My family who lives about 30 minutes from Condado; Plaza Las Americas which is the most beautiful mall I have seen; and Rio Piedras where I stocked up on candies native to PR at great prices. I also got to ride on the Tren Urbano which is the local train. I enjoyed being among the local people and hearing their stories. Last but not least, JJ is a great person to work with. He was always helpful and available to answer my questions as I planned for my stay. I definitely would consider staying at this apt during future trips to beautiful Puerto Rico.

Great vacation rental!

My boyfriend and I spent a month in Puerto Rico and were fortunate enough to have stumbled upon this studio apartment. It was very comfortable for two adults, with a full kitchen, dining area, bed and bathroom. In addition, the location was unbeatable - in the heart of Condado and within an easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants, Walgreens, grocery store, botiques, bus line, and the art musuem. In addition, JJ was very accomodating and readily available whenever we needed advice, wanted a suggestion, or had a question come up. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in this appartment and to have met him! Highly recommended!!

Great Location-Excellent Apartment

Located near the Atlantic Beach Hotel, the best bar and staff on the beach. The condo was large with everything you needed. The washer and dryer was a real plus. I stayed three weeks and saved alot of cash renting a condo instead of a resort hotel. If you plan to stay at least a week check out a condo and this one is a true find. Location, location it's like coming home. In the center of Condado with access to public transit, take the B21 to Old San Juan. A real bargain.
