Description of the San Leandro vacation home rental

This is the upstairs of a 2-story house. It has it's own entrance and is totally private. It is a lovely sunny space with 2 bedrooms (double beds)and a futon couch in the living room. There is also a double inflatable mattress available. The kitchen is fully equipped and looks out over the back yard which is available for cook-outs and just relaxing. The house is one mile from BART (rapid transit system), one-half hour from San Francisco, one hour from Muir Woods, 4 hours from Yosemite, and 4 hours from Lake Tahoe. The house is in a quiet, friendly neighbor and there is plenty of on-street parking.

The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, and easily accessible from both freeways. The downtown area is less than a mile away for shopping and dining, and a nice coffee house and restaurant are only a few blocks away. Hiking trails, a reservoir and marina, and a golf course are within a couple of miles.

My husband and I came to work for a week and needed a place where we could retreat and recover in the evenings. The place is spacious, had every amenity we needed, and the garden provided great smells, sights and serenity. The neighborhood and the owner are very sweet and community=oriented. We are definitely coming back.  more...
