Description of the San Luis Obispo vacation home rental
Tastefully renovated home with 9'0 ceilings, fireplace, oriental rugs, great deck and yard. Vintage 1923 construction updated by designer. One bedroom and one bath, sleeps two. Very easy and pleasant walk to beautiful downtown with creek, restaurants, and shopping. Great hiking and biking community. Many golf courses, Edna Valley wine country and beaches (Morro Bay, Pismo Beach) are nearby (30-60 minutes by bike!). Hearst castle and elephant seal rookery are 45 minutes drive north.
Area Description
Historic district of San Luis Obispo. Almost every street is a delight to walk. Creekside dining at sandwich shops and fine restaurants. Three blocks to Amtrak. The Mission Plaza has many events. Free concerts every Friday evening in the summer. The kind of town that hopefully will never go out of style.
Local hiking, wildlife, birding are very good.
