Description of the San Marcos vacation home rental

House is a 4 bedroom home with a private pool. It has a great outside area to sit and relax, also within walking distance to the San Marcos River. This place has the best of both worlds: stay and enjoy the pool or walk to the river for a cold swim just 900 feet away! Ample room for a great family gathering. You will also appreciate sitting outside and watching the hummingbirds that visit daily. Plenty of outdoor seating outside to take in the sun, relax or swim. At night, enjoy all the lighting and the privacy this place has to offer. You can float the river from Old Bastrop Road for a 3 hour float and end up within walking distance to your stay. With so many great things to offer, you won't want to leave.

Area Information

Location is very quiet and secluded from other homes, within walking distance to the river, yet close to all the major stores like Wal-Mart and HEB. 15 minutes away from the Tanger Outlet Mall and the Prime Outlet Mall. Both Austin, TX and New Braunfels, TX are within a short 20 minutes drive. There is an abundance of shopping and dining very close. If you are looking to get away from all the traffic, this is the place to be. Three Dudes Winery is a short 5 minute drive.
