Website equals actual site, both superb. Friendly locals; exceptional property managers/tourist information helpers & arrangers; great beach restaurants and staff; fishing was wonderful and fruitful; touching the sting rays and sharks while snorkeling was awesome; guide to mainland ruins and cave tubing exceptional.

Scuba divers delight

We had a great stay. The Condo was as beautiful as the website pictures.The outdoor decks had great views of the ocean and swooping pelicans. The scuba diving and snorkeling was only minutes away. The managers Roger and Susan were extremely helpful. Whether it was stocking the condo with beverages, arranging local airline connections, dinner reservations, and scuba diving trips they could always get you hooked up with the best even on short notice. Roger even went above and beyond to get the suspension fixed on our rented golf cart when the suspension broke at 6:30pm on New Years Eve. Talk about having the right connections! San Pedro is a fun little town with very friendly people. We would highly recommend this place to friends going to Belize and look forward to returning to check out the many dive sites we didn't get to.

Ambergris with kids

We stayed for 7 nights in Ambergris with 2 families and children 4,6,8,8. We all loved the vacation and the accomodations are stunning. If you are travelling with children it is important to know that the property is on the water but does not have beach entry or good ocean swimming. This is available in town but not on site. The coco locos pool is more sunny and shallow so was preferred by my kids. Also note that there is a lot of construction in the area. It will be beautiful, currently next door is a vacant lot and across the street is under construction. The snorkelling and fishing was loved by my children. Bring your money as eating out and excursions are expensive. Snorkelling $158 per family of 4, fishing $300 per family

Condo was wonderful

This condo had a vast view of the reef and surrounding area. It was beautiful and well laid out. We spent a lot of time on the upstairs deck enjoying the views and the sunsets. It was big enough for 6 of us to have our own space and enjoy our stay. Susan and Roger were absolutely wonderful and helped with anything we needed, they were right there. We would go back again. The island is awesome.

The condo was great. We had 7 of us stay for 4 nights and it worked out great. It was very spacious and well decorated. It even had a crate of Belikin Bottles in the closet so we didnt have to pay the deposit. The condo was South of town about 2.5 miles along a bumpy mostly dirt road but it was still easy to travel via bike or taxi. We had 7 of us so the $10 taxi ride one way wasn't too bad. The plus side of being so far out of town was the beach we had. Alot of the places in town don't even have a beach so it was very nice having all sorts of room right in front of the condo. There wasnt a place to eat near the condo but the little convienance store about 20 yards away provided everything we needed to cook meals or pick up snacks. I will definitly return to the Sunset Condos on my next trip to San Pedro.
