Description of the San Pedro vacation villa rental
This is a fully equipped 1200 sq. ft. 2 bedroom 2 bath villa with a wrap around deck with a hammock. It is right on the water. There is maid service daily. It is just so beautiful!
Area Description
The villa is on Ambergris Caye. The resort boat picks you up in San Pedro. It is so peaceful and quiet. It is the perfect place if you're a diver, as most of the trips go off the Costa Maya pier.

This is a great place if you want to get away and relax. The location near the reef and Mexico Rocks is great - only a short kayak ride away, AND the kayak is free! I've never met a nicer staff in all my years of travel. The buffets were delicious and generous.
If you want to be close to San Pedro for the variety of restaurants and nightlife, this is NOT the place to go, since the only feasible transportation from the resort to town is the Island Taxi, which is now US$26 pp round trip (the unlimited pass is now US$60). But for those of us who want peace, quiet and beautiful tropical surroundings in which to relax, this IS the place.
The rooms may be a bit worn, but they are very clean and the staff keeps them that way.
If you're looking for a real adventure, rent one of their golf carts and take the road to town. Be prepared for some really rough riding and muddy shoes, along with singing birds and great views - we had GREAT fun doing it. And you MUST take cave-tubing tour - one of the coolest things, literally, I've ever experienced.
If you want everything perfect, homoginized and sanitized (and soulless), go to Disney World. If you want a beautifully relaxing vacation in an intriquing part of the world, go to the Costa Maya in Belize
