EL NIDO ISLANDS.
Pinagbuyotan Island.
There are lots of swift nests here, the nests are used to make birds nest soup. And dew to there
Value are watched during the breeding season. The watch men live in small huts on the cliff sides just like the swifts.
Cauayan Island .
Next to the open sea the fish
are really big here.
Cadlao Island.
Has a nice small lagoon were a fresh water stream and the sea meet turning the water milky white, it ��s a shallow lagoon with a sandy bottom and has a pristine coral reef in front.
Inambuyod Island.
The canal between Inambuyod Island and Matinloc Island is very calm and a refuge for fish.
Tapiutan Island .
On the edge of the Bacuit bay lots of pelagic fish can be seen here.
With deep walls and open sea this island is grate for diving.
Helicopter Island.
Named for its shape, Helicopter Island has a lovely beach, the sea there is half sandy bottom and half reef. There is also a cave to explore.
Matinloc Island.
There is a shrine here that has a wonderful hall with tall pillars and a domed roof. Artistically designed its grand appearance has been skilfully blended with its natural setting.
Seven commandos beach
Named after the American commandos left here to watch out for Japanese ships hiding it the maze of islands. Has lots of monkeys and a large reef in front.
North Guntao Island.
Much smaller than south Guntao Island this little gem has large schools of yellow tail fish. Bring some food for them and you wont be able to see the water.
Minialoc Island.
Home to the Minialoc resort
There is a must see big lagoon here Very deep and filled with fish the
walls are encrusted with large clams shell fish and corals.
South Guntao Island has been just out of reach of paddling fishermen over the years. massive giant clams can be found here some are over one meter in length.
Saddel island .
This is a grate place for the kids. So small you can relax with out them wandering off.
Lagen Island
Home to the lagen resort.
Shallow waters here are ideal
for novice swimmers, has a reef and sandy areas.
