Description of the Sand Point vacation home rental

Welcome to a 2000 square foot 1950's cottage (old-fashioned with modern conveniences). With 4 bedrooms and two full baths, the cottage accommodates 8 to 12 people. Enjoy 50 feet of private sandy beach/lake frontage in this ideal family get-away location. Escape to a bit of heaven with breath taking views of both sunrises and sunsets from the large north facing lakefront deck. Choose from over 500 books to read by the cozy fireplace.



During the summer of 2008, we are offering a special weekly rate of $800 for the 2 bedrooms and bath guest portion of the house. This does not include any cooking or refrigeration, but does include separate entrance and most everything else. Subject to availability. Call for more info.

Sand Point is a five mile long private enclave of summer homes west off M-25 just 3 miles south of Caseville, in the Thumb of Michigan. The northshore faces the wide open expanse of Lake Huron. To the east one can view the sunrise and to the west the sunset. Enjoy golf, fine dining, horseback riding, shopping, putt-putt golf, go-carts, bumper boats, antique hunting and county park. Rent watercraft nearby. Comedy night club on Friday nights. This is a secret summer hideaway yet undiscovered and still affordable.

Drove in from Pittsburgh not knowing what to expect. Lakefront does not always mean lakefront. This beach was perfect from morning to night...golden sand...room for volleyball...wade out through sandy bottom for a 100 yards or more. Perfection
