Description of the Sanibel Island vacation condo rental
This condo appeals to the more discerning traveler that is looking for an upgraded unit. When the remodeling of this unit was completed, the kitchen was revamped to offer an open floor plan with views of the gulf and solid-surface countertops. Master bedroom and living room and separated by 6-panel sliding doors and offering a private bedroom at night and an open space during the day. Other upgrades are ceramic tile flooring, crown molding, the sliding glass doors that open the full width of the condo to allow for sea breezes and sounds of the surf. Large lanai provides furnishings for lounging or enjoying a meal. This condo includes washer/dryer, 2 cable TV's (40" HD TV in living room), DVD and small DVD library, CD player, beach chairs, beach towels, picnic cooler for the beach, and two bikes on loan.

Area Information
The Sundial of Sanibel offers 1/2 mile of pristine beaches laden with seashells, 4 condos pools (including one of the few oceanfront pools on Sanibel), BBQ grills, free wireless internet, and shuffleboard.

Very relaxing

My husband and I chose this condo mostly for it's convenience to the beach. It was a lovely place..very nicely decorated and appointed. The lodge was very clean and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed the continental breakfast at Traditions a few mornings, but were also happy to just sleep in and prepare our own food as we had the convenience of a kitchen for that as well. Groceries and restaurants were accessible within a 10 to 15 minute drive. We chose a rather hot time of the season to vacation, so it was fairly quiet in our building. The only thing missing for us was a balcony to sit out on. We were a little disappointed, since the pics of our condo were deceiving in that it included one with balcony. All in all though, it was a pleasant stay and we felt it was worth every penny.

Great condo

We absolutely loved our stay at Sanibel Island. This condo had everything we needed and then some. The decor was beautiful and done very elegantly. Everything was clean and the view was exceptional. If we had wanted to cook, which we didn't do much of , after all we were on vacation, we could have as everything we would have needed was supplied. We loved leaving the sliding glass open at night and waking up to the sound of the ocean. We really hated to leave. It felt very much a home away from home. Would we stay again? A resounding "YES!"

Love,love, loved this place. It is private enough so that it isn't a crowded area. It is so nicely decorated with everything needed for a perfect vacation. The bed slept so comfortably it was nice to wake up well rested in the mornings. We chose to eat dinner in several nights. The kitchen had everything needed for a complete and easy to prepare meal. The lanai is the perfect place to spend early mornings with coffee. The beach charis supplied by the owner was much appreciated. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Sanibel !
