Description of the Santa Barbara vacation guesthouse rental
Available year round ---
Brand new wood flooring
:) Cute and cozy 1 bedroom loft w/ kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, coffee maker) Very Clean, attached to house, with a nice little private patio area, A/C, plus own entrance on side of house. Sleeps 2 comfortably, but can fit some kids on a fold out mattress (new) downstairs, if needed. We have games, videos and books for kids and adults. The bathroom (shower only) comes equipped with all your needs; shampoo, conditioner, soap, blow dryer etc. Bedroom w/ queen bed, cable TV plus HBO, VCR/DVD, is upstairs and a small reading area, bathroom, breakfast table and kitchenette is downstairs. Spiral staircase (sorry, no handicap access)
Ammenities:
The house is close to upper State street, so there's some street noise at certain times of the day, but closing the double pane windows fixes that! :-), Trader Joes, Coffee Bean, Longs and many restaurants (pizza, sushi, Indian, El Pollo Loco,Italian) are within walking distance. We are about a 7 minute drive to the beach and about 5 minutes away from lower state st.(Main Shopping, Retail and Dining area) You could also catch the bus, as the bus stop is only a 1 minute walk away!
Rental Rates:
$99.00 a night -- 2 night minimum.
+ Refundable security deposit ($100) +
$50.00 cleaning fee :) Cancellation fee applies. Two week notice appreciated
Summer Rates: (June, July, August)
$120.00 per night.
Weekly rate is $699.00 per week
Area Information
Santa Barbara is paradise. There is a ton to do here. Take time to relax at the beach, walk and shop on State St., enjoy the Mission, the Natural History Museum, the Santa Barbara Bowl (great place to see a concert), and/or take a walk through the Botanical Gardens. There is something for everyone. The restaurants are well known for their exquisite menus and the bars are fun and energetic.

This is a wonderful little place! Pretty much everything I needed was here already. Lots of storage space for longer stays. Very clean and comfortable! Also, a great location within walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Excellent Little Loft!

My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend for our anniversary and loved it. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. The kitchenette is nicely equipped and a great addition to the loft. We brought our own food for breakfast and lunch for the duration of our stay and were pleased with the storage space and utility provided. We also thoroughly enjoyed eating breakfast at the sunny little table by the window every morning. The loft itself was very private and comfy. We loved all of the little touches. The only downside was that it was about a 25-30 minute walk to get downtown...a slight inconvenience (though if we would have driven, it would have been nothing), but we didn't mind the nice walk through the upscale neighborhood in the mornings. We were sad to leave and will definitely stay here again!

Home away from Home!

This was more than a vacation rental! It was cozy, convenient, private, well-situated, spacious, and not to mention perfectly adorable! The apartment provides all the comforts of home and is in a great location right off of State Street in California's most beautiful city, Santa Barbara. The private outdoor patio is an excellent touch to this well thought out space, each morning I delighted in drinking my coffee next to blooming hibiscus flowers! At night, I snuggled into the cozy wood paneled upstairs loft, very comfortable bed and slept like a dream. When I had company, there was definitely enough space for both of us. The kitchen and living space have all the accommodations one would need. And the landlords are friendly and helpful and yet provide you with complete privacy. I truly recommend this little gem!
