A large stone spa tucked into a bamboo grove spills water over a stone waterfall into the pool. This three bedroom, two bath house, located in a quiet residential neighborhood, has french doors and sunlight throughout, ocean and island views, and romantic landscape lighting for the evening.  Feels and Looks Like a Resort :), January 26, 2008

This vacation home is indeed a mini resort. It looks tropical, and it has a relaxed atmosphere. It is very clean and appropriately decorated. We like the original paintings that the owners have collected, and it has a fair-sized kitchen with all the dinnerwares and utensils that you can think of. You'll get the best of the swimming pool in the warmer months, but we certainly enjoyed the hot tub. The owners were friendly and easy to talk to. They were concerned about the enjoyment of their guests, which is a plus for us. There is only one wish that we have for this home -- a larger than a 25" TV as there are many channels to watch and surf. Overall, we had a rejuvenating and fun time. We only hope that we can come back. Thank you!

 Santa Barbara Retreat, October 7, 2007

This was our first time to rent a home for our vacation. We were visiting our children in S.B. and wanted a place where we could all gather and relax. What a perfect spot! The yard and pool area is very private and the home is spotless. The kitchen with the french doors to the patio area were absolutely perfect for our dinners together. We felt so pampered. And being able to do laundry and not take home sandy clothes was a real plus. Even doing laundry didn't seem like work - sitting in big comfy chairs reading a book while waiting for the dryer to finish. After a busy day in S.B. it was a wonderful retreat to come home to each day. We hope to return next year.
