Vacation Rental Description

We really love our San Roque home and so will you! Our family-friendly 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home is less than a mile walk to the Mission, the Museum of Natural History, parks, hiking trails, and great local restaurants and shops. We are close to the action of downtown State Street and a short drive / bike ride to the beach.

Enter our house into a bright open floor plan -- a comfortable living room (which includes a cozy fireplace, comfy overstuffed couches and a 38 inch flat screen HDTV with cable, DVR and DVD) and a spacious, sunny dining area and kitchen (fully equipped). French doors and huge windows beckon you to enjoy our cheerful private backyard with flagstone patios, a gas barbeque, a long lush lawn, fruit trees and more flora galore. Relax in our hot tub while taking in beautiful mountain views.

The large master bedroom includes a vaulted ceiling, french doors, more awesome mountain views (from bed!) and an attached master bath with an oversized glass shower and a walk-in closet. In addition, we have a 'boys room with bunk beds (and lots of books, games and toys!) and a 'girls room with a queen bed. The fourth bedroom has an extra TV (with WII), a desk, a soft carpet, and a comfortable daybed and trundle. The bathroom includes 2 sinks and a tub / shower. There is a half bath off the dining area. Save the bathrooms, the house has gleaming hardwood floors throughout.

We have bikes, balls, scooters, croquet, foosball (in our 2 car garage), hoops, and more that we are happy to share. Pets are also okay. Garden and hot tub maintenance are included.

Area Description

Santa Barbara is a vacation paradise! The beach, hiking trails, shopping, museums, and more are all nearby. The beautiful Santa Ynez Valley wine country is just 40 minutes away, and Los Angeles is about 90 minutes south.
