PARADISE LOCATION! In exquisite part of Santa Barbara-Montecito! 5 MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN SANTA BARBARA. Neighborhood of Oprah Winfrey-It’s heavenly, quiet setting (except for chirping birds and the sound of the waterfall) has a calming, stress-free effect when looking out the many large windows that overlook the lush tropical gardens, floral vines and towering trees-area famous for one of most sought after places to live in the world.
Montecito has a unique, paradise, peaceful setting with mansions sprawled across a lush landscape on or below the mountainous terrain-yet we are walking distance to a deli, restaurants, cafes, banks, a market and shops.
The property is on a private lane with speed bumps which = no traffic and and is adjacent to a quiet park. It being only minutes from the most beautiful beach miles around and near Downtown makes it an ideal choice. Montecito is home to Butterfly Beach and the famous Biltmore Hotel-a real paradise setting. Wake up to only the sounds of the birds.
The home has 2(office can be 3rd bedroom) bedrooms, living room, kitchen, kitchenette and office. The Master Bedroom has its own romantic fireplace and a heavenly Cal. King bed brought over from England with french doors that open out to the large deck leading out to lush tropical trees and plants that surround the entire property as well as beautiful views of the flowering vines and jasmine from the second bedroom.
The office overlooks the large beautiful tropical gardens and tropical waterfall. There are two fireplaces and a washer and dryer. The many large windows overlook the lush tropical gardens, floral vines and towering trees.
The entire property is completely enclosed with high hedging and rustic fencing.
The living room harbors a beautiful baby grand piano for musically inspired guests.
The private lane has speed bumps that guarantee no traffic-safe for children and animals. The sounds of a fountain while enjoying the hammock adds to the peaceful quiet days.
The 101 freeway is 1/2 a mile away for easy access in case you'd like to visit other points of interest in the region.
FREE SHORT TERM USE OF THE YMCA as our guest which is walking distance-fully equipped, beautiful POOL, SAUNA, JACUZZI, YOGA, PILATES and much more. Taking a stroll up our private lane, while viewing the majestic mountains, is nearby Montecito's quaint upper village where you can have the choice of a full breakfast, gourmet coffees and fresh croissants/pastries while reading the paper along with the privileged locals enjoying the local charm. Our guests are typically looking for a 'home away from home' and opting to avoid the sterile motel/hotel uncertainties which cannot guarantee a peaceful setting and privacy we so cherish.

The grocery store, park, restaurants, pool, gym/fitness, playground area,are walking distance and the beach being only 1 mile away can be walked but I can only chose 1 mile as the least distance.

Paradise!

I rent a place in Santa Barbara every summer. This little piece of heaven is by far the most fantastic place I have ever had the pleasure to occupy! Home away from home does not suffice! This place does not only provide the best location in terms of strolling up the lane for dinner at Piatti's or lunch at Pierre LaFond, but includes a sort of peaceful, tranquility and sense of love and light and just sheer comfort. These added bonuses, not to be found in any ordinary rental, are directly related to the homes Owner. I consider it a blessing to have met her and an honor to have stayed in her lovely home. If polo brings us back to Santa Barbara next summer, I would advise booking this place early, because there is no place else we would ever want to ever stay!! :)

This home is in THE MOST lovely area of Santa Barbara and ideally suited for those who prefer to be away from the bustle of town, yet close enough to get to everything quickly. The location is pristine and the front and back yards are private and lush. Kanga, your hostess, does her utmost to assist with making your stay as enjoyable as possible.
