The Best Place to Stay to Explore Santa Barbara

Staying here was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. My friends and I had come to Santa Barbara on a student exchange program to UCSB and we were so lucky to find this place. Cliff and Karen are the nicest people, and everyone on the property made us feel right at home all throughout our stay. They always gave us the best tips on places to eat and things to do around the area. Our stay itself was amazing. The beautiful apartment truly feels like home. A fully stocked kitchen made it easy for us to whip up our own meals. It was such a joy coming back home every day. Wifi and TV made sure connectivity and entertainment on stay-in nights were taken care of! The beds were comfortable, and there was a washer and dryer for all our laundry needs right on the property. One of the best things about staying here though is the location. Being just two blocks off State street means that it is super convenient to take a short walk and explore downtown Santa Barbara. Even Fisherman's Wharf is a comfortable and scenic 20min walk away. The Transit Center is also very close by, making travel around Santa Barbara really convenient. You won't find a better location to explore the area than this. I could go on and on about what an amazing experience I had staying here. Karen and Cliff truly gave us the opportunity to have the best time. If you are thinking about visiting Santa Barbara there really isn't a better place you could stay at than with these lovely people. You will have an amazing experience, guaranteed! Thank you Cliff and Karen for truly making us feel and home with your warm hospitality and all that you did for us!

perfect get away within easy walking of shops. Even the beach is walkable or catch the bus. The house had all you need to either cook or eat out. Parking for a car, or just chill.

The townhouse worked out perfectly for my family's trip to Santa Barbara! The townhouse was spacious and clean. We felt very welcome when the owner - Karen - met with us and she was more than willing to answer any questions regarding our stay.

The owners did an excellent job designing and setting up their town house rental and the kitchen contained all the gear you would need for cooking a regular set of meals. 2.5 baths made it easy for everyone to shower and clean up, and there is a very nice porch and grill. They also accommodate dogs which helped us enormously. If you want a centrally located Santa Barbara stay that is also very quiet, it's hard to imagine a better spot. We did not have a car for most of our stay and could easily walk to the grocery, Christmas shopping, the mission, art museum, and two beaches, one of which allows dogs off leash. We researched over fifty properties in LA, San Diego, and SB; this was our careful choice; and after a very pleasant week, we recommend it highly.

Greetings, I would highly recommend this beautiful townhome, walking distance to all the great shopping on State street. My partner, son and I slept well on the very comfortable beds, enjoyed the hot tub/jacuzi and the well equipped kitchen. Overall, we felt as if we were part of the community and welcomed by the owners in a very gracious fashion. I could not have asked for a more comfortable, lovely location! We will definitely want to go back to see Karen and Cliff!
