Anniversary in the redwoods

The property was perfect and we got the peace & ouiet we both desperately wanted and needed. The home was full of personal touches beautifully done. Anything we needed, that wasn't already there, was only a couple of minutes away, stores, restaurants..... I had to drag my wife away from this property, needless to say given any oppertunity, we'll be back!! Thank you

We Stayed for 4 Days, 3 Nights in this adorable home on the hills. The Weather was only good for 1.5 days of the trip, however the location, view, and hot tub turned that into a virtual non-issue. If you bring plenty of food(and champagne/orange juice for morning mimosas in the hot tub), then there is absolutely no reason to leave this remote, private, perch in the Big Sur Mts. We had an absolutely marvelous time. The place is furnished very comfortably, and they did a great job of leaving it simple.. Placing all of the emphasis of the immeasurable serenity/beauty you are dropped right in the middle of. Highly recommended, and of high value for the money in my opinion. The homeowner is extremely friendly and thoughtful, and the slightly off-site caretaker doesn't at all violate the privacy one renting such a spot desires. I've already expressed my desire to return as soon as my schedule permits.. so don't book all of the remaining availabilities!

Sittin' on top of the world

We stayed at this beautiful house while up for our son's orientation at UCSC. It is so convenient, it's a short distance from the beach and campus. The town by the house has an excellent grocery store, a Redbox to rent movies, and a great wine selection. We also worked out at a local gym, took a spinning class, so great! The house is AMAZING! The view is so relaxing, lying in the bed and looking at the massive tree outside the door was really great. The kitchen has everything you need. The hot tub is really nice, very spacious. Very quite, can't wait to go back!

We stayed to get away for the Holidays. It worked! The refrigerator was stocked with breakfast, so we were taken care of there. It was beautiful sitting in the hot tub, looking at the redwoods right on the property. Just the get away that we needed.

This is a good place for 2-4. Very quiet in a residential neighborhood. Quite a ways from Santa Cruz but doable. Good market-GourmetDeli right there in Scotts Valley where place is. Absolutly beautiful giant redwoods surround the patio. Owner very accomodating.

A very unique and interesting house. New carpet, new kitchen and bathrooms, new master bed with warm and cozy blankets, watched the fog roll in and over and through the mountains and treetops, inhaled the smell of the tall redwoods, nice small town but big enough to meet our needs. Wished it could accommodate more than 4 people. Must go to Heavenly for breakfast!

Wow! What a place! Huge redwoods everywhere. Glass house, awesome views, big deck, and the hot tub! Really worked! 104 degrees! Beds were great too. They even put a breakfast in the fridge. We can't wait to return for our anniversary! A real bargain!
