I don't do reviews, but...My husband and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and our stay rocked! For our trip to NM, I wanted to stay somewhere special, but we didn't have a lot of money. I didn't really want to stay in some cheapo chain hotel/motel, so I was so excited when I found this studio. I could only pray the reviews I read were true --so I took a leap of faith and booked it. Needless to say, because of our stay at Caroline's studio, our trip was phenominal!! The pictures on the site don't do it justice. Everything good that you read about it is true. --Caroline was so wonderful--she gave us our privacy --and somehow managed to make the bed and clean up the bathroom everyday while we were away! It was truly unique. By staying here, you get to experience "living" in Santa Fe instead of simply "staying" in Santa Fe. Best stay for the price --guaranteed. You'll be included in the culture, yet secluded from the world! Plus you won't have to worry about paying for parking. ;)
Caroline’s casita will not disappoint you!, September 28, 2008

Caroline’s place is a very special place indeed… Close to the plaza but far enough away to relax and unwind… The views of the mountains are fabulous and the available amenities are never ending. When we read all the reviews, it seemed impossible to believe that such a wonderful place exists --- well, it does! This casita will not disappoint you!
Caroline… thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us; we can’t wait to return! We miss it already!
Absolutely lovely!, September 27, 2008

It was hard to imagine that the glowing reviews of this place could be accurate, but every word was true! Caroline was a perfect hostess, available when needed or to chat but not at all obtrusive. We enjoyed every aspect of the accomodations and the service - fresh flowers and fruit, thick clean hotel towels each day, the soothing sound of the bubbling fishpond outside the door, and the feeling that we were out of town and yet convenient to all we wanted to do. I can't recommend this place too highly.
A Wonderful Stay, August 31, 2008
By Renee Duval (Ashland, OR)
This was my second time staying at Caroline's apartment. It was every bit as wonderful as last year. Such attention to details: flowers, juice, fruit, coffee, bath robes and daily cleaning. And the desert views...beautiful!
I will be back next year!
Many Thanks.
Casa extraordinaire, August 9, 2008
By Sybil Jacobson (Longmont, Colorado)
Santa Fe Opera and the city center easily accessible
Peaceful, quiet and private surroundings
Fresh flowers and a bowl of fruit on the table
A well supplied kitchen
Refrigerator containing fresh OJ, eggs, yogurt and more
A fine espresso and coffee maker
Telephone, TV, stereo, and WiFi all available
Fresh towels every day
Colors of the southwest
At night, soft lights of candles
An outdoor patio with twinkling lights
A friendly visiting canine
A comfortable bed with fireplace nearby
The fragrance of juniper, pinion and sage
A skyline panorama of hills and mountains
A pond filled with lilies, papyrus plants, and fish
The murmur of a waterfall
We knew we had found a special casa when we arrived. We will return.
Wonderful stay, July 16, 2008
By Susan Caruso (Chicago)
My husband and I spent four nights at Caroline's casita. This was our fourth trip to Santa Fe. In the past, we stayed at hotels in the square, which were nice, but very expensive. We were both pleasantly surprised at how Caroline managed to offer accomodations that surpassed the hotels in terms of
privacy and ammenities. All of our needs were met...plus more! We plan to return someday!
Fireworks - 360, July 9, 2008
By Cindy Pylant (Broken Arrow, OK)
What a great 4th of July - fireworks every which way you could turn from my own hilltop and room with a view! What a perfect room, location and hostess. I felt as if I was visiting a relative (a nice, gracious relative)! I shall return as soon as possible.
Romantic get-away, June 26, 2008
By Josh and Jen (USA)
Our stay was like a mini honeymoon. We enjoyed the candles in the fireplace. We also enjoyed wearing the robes, sipping hot tea and enjoying looking at the moon from the back porch. We liked the nice surprise of the Ipod stereo to use as we docked our Ipod and enjoyed some familiar music. She was a wonderful host who always left the light on for us at night and the fan blowing to cool the place down after a hot day. We were so confortable and couldn't ask for a better place to stay. We look forward to coming again.
Wonderful Visit to Caroline's in Santa Fe, June 2, 2008
By Lenny Harvey (Simi Valley)
I cannot begin to tell you about the most incredible visit we had at Caroline's this past week. The place was perfect with every amenity imaginable from shampoo, band aids, sun screen, thick robes, fresh flowers, fruit, babbling pond with gold fish. And the bed was so very comfortable!! After 21 years of visiting Santa Fe, we finally felt like we lived there! It was the best Santa Fe trip we have ever had, and we will be back! Caroline was perfection, charming, kind and just plain fabulous! Barney loved Doogle and Bosco and their attention!! Merci! Thanks! Lenny, Darrell, and Barney.
peaceful retreat time in May, May 24, 2008
By janet Waronker (Lambertville NJ USA)
We were really able to relax and I appreciated the quiet of the surroundings;walking or sitting on the patio, listening to the watersounds in the little fish pond there and that everchanging sky. The studio apartment was really comfortable and clean and the bed was great - good night's sleep. I recommend Caroline's casita highly and have been there before and hope to stay there next visit. She's a great host and tasteful decorator to boot.

Don't Pass Up This Opportunity!!!, May 19, 2008
By Rob Anderson (Detroit Metro, MI USA)
We stayed here for a week and were incredibly impressed with the casita and Caroline's attention to our needs. Prior reviews have summed up the great features very well. In a nutshell, you'd be hard pressed to find more features at many luxury hotels - assuming you don't care about room service and concierges but do care about personal comfort. If you are coming to Santa Fe, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Hats off to Caroline for a superb experience at an exceptionally low price! External Links
