For the holidays we need either arrival or departure on December 27th. 6 night minimum stay required.

Imagine the ultimate Santa Fe experience…living in a 100-year old adobe that was originally the stable of this historic Abeyta Street compound.

Wandering the dirt lanes, you can imagine these as the original burro trails leading to town. From Casa Establo you can walk your own secluded path to Acequia Madre, then to Downtown Subscription coffee shop or on to the Plaza (1.2 miles). Another direction takes you only about 3 blocks to Canyon Road near Geronimos, El Farol, and the Tea House.

The lower level of this two-bedroom, two-bath home is the original adobe brick. It contains the main living area and one bedroom. When the second story was added, the house was remodeled to what it is today with the top floor becoming a full master suite.

As you arrive at Casa Establo, you will notice an inviting home with vine covered walls enclosing a shaded front courtyard. Here you will enjoy eating outside or simply enjoying your morning coffee in one of Santa Fe’s oldest neighborhoods.

As you enter, you will be in the open living/dining area. You will immediately notice the wonderful Santa Fe style, including Saltillo tile floors, viga ceilings, and a wood-burning kiva fireplace. Colorful décor and wonderful art from around the world abound in this home.

The dining area is adjacent to the living room and easily seats six.

The doorway beyond takes you to the kitchen with bar seating for two and a tall table and chairs for two. This part of the home has brick floors and Travertine marble counter tops. The kitchen is small, but contains everything you need for creating your gourmet meal, including a gas stove.

The downstairs bedroom (queen), beyond the kitchen also has brick floors, a skylight, and another wood-burning kiva fireplace. There is a full bathroom between the kitchen and downstairs bedroom that serves the lower level.

From the dining room there are stairs leading to the upper level which has a huge king master bedroom with its own full bathroom with Mexican Talavera tile. You will enjoy the separate seating area for reading or watching TV. It is extremely bright and cheerful as there is a wall of windows providing lots of light. Off the master bedroom is a rooftop deck, another place to enjoy our beautiful weather.

Amenties include all linens, fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 flat screen TV’s, air conditioning, hot water baseboard heat, ceiling fans, off-street parking for only 2 cars, telephone, WIFI and cable TV.

This is an allergy-free home. No pets are allowed.

This house may not be appropriate for those who have walking or balance problems, as the first level has several “step ups” and the stairs leading to the master suite are steep.
