The original house is a historic adobe and encompasses a study and the second bedroom suite. A large new addition was recently completed (living and dining rooms, kitchen, and the master bedroom suite) which offers a dramatic contrast to the old. There are many interesting design touches, and very tasteful furnishings. Hand-hewn beams and latillas, custom cabinetry and tinwork, kiva fireplace, flagstone and saltillo-tiled floors and beautiful recessed shelves and nichos are some of its many unique features. The furniture richly combines the new and the old--from the new pine furniture, old armoire and European metal king bed in the large master bedroom, to the rustic natural and painted trasteros, tables, chairs and chests throughout the house- -chic Southwestern furnishings, but NOT “high coyote!”

The king master bedroom is spacious with several ample cedar closets and built-in shelving, and it has a separate entrance (to a private patio). The large bath features a sunken bathtub with marble surrounds. A second bedroom features a queen bed, a full bath and a separate entrance. The gourmet kitchen featuring a Thermador gas range, oversize refrigerator and lots of counter space including a center island, will meet all your culinary needs when you are not enjoying one of Santa Fe’s fantastic restaurants. The separate study with queen futon provides desk, chair and bookshelves for those who plan to combine work and pleasure during their stay. A second office niche is located in the dining room for those of who who must work. And, practical considerations are not forgotten in the provision of an excellent sound system with built-in BOSE speakers, DVD, voicemail, cable television, WIRELESS high-speed internet DSL, washer and dryer, security system and ample off-street parking.
The enclosed courtyard offers the perfect place to enjoy Santa Fe’s pleasant year-round weather, sitting on one of the colorful benches or dining under the shade of the apricot tree. There are 4 different outdoor seating areas. A gas barbeque grill is provided
