Description of the Santa Fe vacation home rental
Accommodations: Beautiful House, 3 Bedrooms + Office/Studio, 2.5 Baths (Sleeps 6-8)
The silence and stillness around this house can be overwhelming. A beautiful home available to individuals, couples, or families to rent. Very quiet and within a brief walk to total wilderness. The landscaping around the house adds to the natural beauty. There are three bedrooms and the office/studio - wall of which are furnished with eclectic and beautiful amenities. The house has a washer and dryer, three fire places, and exercise equipment available as well.
The Saltillo-tiled living room, media room, and dining room, all have high ceilings and are very comfortable. The media room has a great fireplace (and stacked wood), large screen TV, stereo receiver/radio with mini-jack setup. The dining room has a very large table with 8 chairs,
The master bedroom has a king sized bed, a fireplace and large bathroom with two sinks, jacuzzi bathtub, and separate shower.
The second and third bedroom share a bathroom with tub/shower. Each of these rooms have queen sized beds.
The fourth bedroom is currently set up to be an office/library but things can be reconfigured easily.
There is a portal with a brick patio, outdoor fire place, outdoor furniture and spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristos and the sunset. The front of the house offers a view onto the Sandias, a rocking chair that seats two and two hammocks for eating or hanging outdoors.
There are walkways around the entire house within the beautiful landscaping. The property sits just minutes from BLM land and miles and miles of open space.
There is cable TV and high speed internet access. The rental price for a night is $225, for a week is $1400 (including utilities) and can be negotiated for longer stays.
Area Information
Eldorado has a wonderful community center with a pool, park, playground, ballpark, tennis courts, and numerous buildings for local community events.

Amazing Holiday!

This property was more than we expected. Everything was perfect including the view of the mountains. The sunsets can not be described in words! Very short drive to the plaza in Santa Fe. It took us about 45 mins to get the the Santa Fe Ski Area and the National Forrest. A day trip to Bandelier National Park was a pleasant drive and well worth the time! ( just a little over an hour ) There is a grocery store just down the main road ( less than 5 mins) and we had everything we needed to prepare the perfect Christmas meal for our family. Beautiful home, beautiful furnishings and AMAZING view and surroundings. I would highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the Santa Fe areal.

Overall, very good

The house is well furnished, and comfortable. Out in a very quiet part of a very quiet part of Santa Fe. Plenty of space for the four of us (two adults and two kids). Clean and well cared for. Could use some gardening, the weeds are out of control. If it is very hot, like it was for us, cooling is a bit tricky and requires some effort for those of us used to A/C. There is no A/C in the house. Main TV was totally broken while we were there, so that was troublesome for our two year old considering the house is far outside of Santa Fe with nothing near it to do, which is both good and bad. Several features of the house need VERY minor attention (light bulbs, door sticking, speakers in living room, etc.). We would stay there again assuming the TV works and the weather is cooler than 93F.
