Short drive to the famous Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, Getty Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Sunset strip, and the Malibu coastline. Shop till your drop at Melrose, Beverly Center or mix with the Hollywood types or "stereotypes" at trendy restaurants and bars on famous restaurant row on La Cienega and Robertson.

We stayed in the apartment for two weeks and had an amazing time. The studio is quite spacious and had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. It's very close to Wilshire Blvd, which has the supermarket, plenty of coffee shops and restaurants and is within very easy walking distance to Third St Promenade, the beach and pier. We hired a car and at times it was difficult to find a parking space, as only on street parking is available but we always found somewhere after some patience. We had one problem with the plumbing during our stay but this was resolved very quickly. The one thing we had a bit of an issue with was that there was no phone available, so we had a bit of a hard time trying to contact the owner, despite having our mobile phones. We also couldn't call for taxi's/airport shuttle due to there being no phone which was also problematic but resolved as we had our laptop and used skype. Therefore it is advisable to take a mobile phone or laptop with you. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend staying here. Santa Monica is our favourite coastal areas of L.A and renting the apartment rather than hotels or hostels, made our trip even better as we had so much more freedom and it was much more comfortable.
