The apartment was nicely furnished and a good size, with a private patio in front although I would recommend bringing a chaise lounge if you want to relax on the patio. The apartment is very conveniently located near a supermarket on Wilshire, a block and a half away. The area is beautiful, especially as you go towards Montana Avenue. There are several very good restaurants on Montana. It is very pleasant to take a walk around the neighborhood in the evening. The apartment is about a mile from the beach, so you can walk, take the bus (2 bus lines stop on Wilshire, a block west of the apartment) or drive, though you will have to pay for parking. I was pleased with the apartment - the furnishings are very nice and modern and there were dishes and lots of other things available (towels, etc.) The only problem was that the hot water in the bathroom seems to take a long time to come up. But overall I would recommend it for someone who doesn't need to be right at the beach.
