Description of the Santa Monica vacation cottage rental

Awesome 2bedroom 1 bath cottage in the heart of Santa Monica. Hardwood Floors throughout, Private Washer and Dryer, Fireplace, Facing West; very bright with cool ocean Breezes, Front Yard, 400 square foot patio, brand new kitchen with built in stainless steel dishwasher, Fridge and microwave. Nicely decorated with Urban Decor, 42" Flat Screen TV. House is fully furnished, Cable, wireless internet.

Just replaced mattresses with Heirloom, Organic Plush Queen Mattress. Also brand new Noritz Tankless water heater water pressure fixed...never run out of hot water.

Area Information

Cottage is approx 3/4 of a mile to Santa Monica Beach, 1.5 miles from Venice Beach, all Santa Monica Attractions, easy transportation service, Santa Monica College(2 blocks) corner deli and market. Very Santa Monica neighborhood.

Wonderful Place!!

My son and I stayed here for 5 weeks while he had some medical treatments and the cottage was great. It had everything you would need. It is only a short walk to the downtown area and a short walk to the beach. Karina is very helpful if you need anything. Hope to go back someday for a vacation and I would stay at this place over and over again. I felt very safe here.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable, and the location is excellent. The shower didn't always have a steady temperature, but it was adequate. The house could only sleep 5, not 6 people as listed. There is one twin-sized bed, one queen-sized bed, and one pull out couch. All sleeping accommodations were comfortable. The kitchen provided everything that you need to cook a good meal, and the washer and drier work great. The outdoor areas are nice in the front yard and off of the master bedroom. The house came with netflix, wireless internet, and Wii. The neighborhood for the most part is quiet, clean, and the people are nice. A 15-20 minute walk will take you down to Santa Monica beach and the pier, and you can very easily drive to Malibu beaches, or ride your bike, or rollerblade to Venice. There is a 22 mile path that can take you from Malibu to Torrence and the various towns and beaches are all beautiful. We very easily drove to Hollywood, and enjoyed hiking in Runyon Canyon. This location isn't far from many shopping locations, as well. I would have preferred to have checked out with the owner myself, but my brother was able to do so for me. The owner is very nice and friendly. The price of the place is reasonable for the good location and for the good home-away-from-home feeling that you have staying here. It's especially resonable if you split the bill with a roommate(s). I would stay here again and would reccommend it to anyone else looking to stay in this location.

Lovely Place

This property is lovely, well maintained and managed by a delightful, warm, friendly and conscientious lady who had a fire in the fireplace and decorations up for us when we arrived. Beds weren't the best and water pressure was low, but it was a clean, lovely, cozy home.
