Description of the Santa Monica vacation home rental
This beautiful two bedroom, two bath home with a optional 3rd bedroom. Newly built modern home boasts a great room with skylights throughout, dark wood floors, and plenty of storage. Designer-decorated chef’s kitchen with state of the art appliances, skylight, and large island with four-stool breakfast bar. Dining Table for formal dining. There is only one problem, you will love the house so much that you will not want to leave it.
The family room features a 50" plasma TV, surround sound & access to the outdoor entertainment area.
There is a Hot tub available for rental periods of a minimum of 5 day periods or greater at $25.00 per day.
The Master suite bath has a Spa Tub and in the bedroom there is a king size bed, 40" plasma TV with a Blu ray/DVD player.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed, plasma TV and a chase lounge chair.

The property perimeter is completely fenced and gated, with access to the house through locked front gate.

Private, well-lit and groomed landscaping and is great for outdoor entertaining. The outdoor entertaining area located just off of the family room provides a private, well-lit yard with a gas grilling station, preparation area; including counter seats and umbrella tables and chairs; wooden deck;

Situations to be solved

Our stay at the property was fine. The house satisfied all our needs. However, we had some problems with the organization as a whole. Some goods were sent to us by mail which never reached us due to wrong information and miss handling of the situation. The items came in the name of the tennants instead of the house's owner, therefore the mail officer returned them to origin without a second delay. The items were lost and the refund of their value, if ever possible, will take a long time and effort. We believe the whole situation could have been avoided if tennants ( I.e. us) had been given proper directions. Going back to the comfort offered by the house, we may say it is fully recommendable.

Great property!!!

The place was well situated. Close to Venice beach (long walk, short ride), grocery store, and Bruno gave told us about a good spot near to eat which turned out to be perfect. The place was gorgeous, comfortable, and Bruno was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home

House was great, owner Bruno was there when we checked in,nice guy. Had a problem with plumbing in master bath which says in contract that it's your responsibility, all I did was fill the tub and when draining all heck broke loose! Other than that feeling lucky to get a parking spot close most the time, the house was fabulous for 4 adults and a 11 & 8 yr. old Whole Foods very close and very spendy and crowded a better chain grocery store just down the road. Bed was nice, 3 TV's perfect for us, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the plumbing issue which I think is an old house lots of tree roots in pipes problem when it looked like maybe leaves coming up in the bathtub when trying to clear. I still would stay again! Thank you Bruno you have a beautiful rental!

Business trip

We had an extended 3 week business trip. It was two of us, and we wanted something different from a hotel for 3 weeks. This place was fantastic. Close to everything you need. If you have more then one car, or you get home late, there will be nights you can't park on your street- you will have to park the next street over. But the place has a great soaking tub, and relaxing patio area. Would highly recommend!

It turns out that the water and Power Company was working on a construction project one block away hence, pushing all the cars from Rose Avenue on to Warren Avenue. very comfortable venice house

The house matched its descrption. Everything you would need in a holiday stay. The location had all the attractions of a LA stay, right down to a police raid on an apartment down the street. Venice beach is a unique place and great shopping at Santa Monica 3rd street promenade.

Family vacation

The home is accurately represented in the pictures. We had four adults and a 4 year old and it was more than adequate. It was conveniently located near attractions and shopping. Wholefoods, CVS and a dollar store are right across the street and were great for all our needs. Bruno was pleasant and went out of his way to make things comfortable for us. He was easy to do business with and we received our deposit back promptly. My only concern were the deadbolt locks that lock with a key from the inside. We would definitely consider a return visit.

I just wanted to clarify the purpose of the deadbolt locks. Double deadbolt locks are designed so if an intruder was to break the glass on the door they would not be able to reach their hand through the door and unlock the door. It is just double security hence the world the word double deadbolt once again, I am sorry for any inconvenience that the locks may have caused you and I hope to have you back soon.

Good value for price

For the price we paid (which was a last minute offer) the house was absolutely o.k. But in my opinion it could really need a good cleaning. There was lots of dirt underneath the couches and on the carpets and also in some of the kitchen cupboards. The kitchen is great, but the equipment (pots, pans, plates, glasses etc.) is a bit cheap. There have only been 2 wine glasses (one of them broke while we stayed there) and only 4 coffee mugs, which might be not enough for 13 persons.... The location is great, as it is close to everything. Your hear the planes from Santa Monica Airport taking of, but it didn´t really bother us. A restaurants tip, go to the "Venice Ale House" down at the beach and try the Ahi Tuna Sandwich, is it delicious!!!!

Nice house in a good location.

We rented the house for seven and slept there comfortably. The beds are comfortable and the house is well furnished. We liked the open kitchen and the subzero fridge which made cooking and entertaining guests very easy and fun. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. There is good supply of towels but some of the beddings are getting old. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay and had a good time at the house. Thanks!

Venice Vacation Rental

The House was everything that it advertised to be. Plenty of room. the appliances were excellent we used the bar b que a couple of days and the weather cooperated. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable as were the extra sleeping arrangements in the living and family rooms. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable was provided. The walk to Venice Beach about 15-20 minutes away was great because we did not have to bother with parking. Excellent house would recomend it to anyone who wants to vacation with family.

Comfortable and quaint....great location.

This place was nice. The location was great for me since I had meetings in Hollywood, Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica and Malibu. Choosing this location made it easy for me to get everywhere. Street parking was never a problem, no matter what time of day or night. The place was large and had a nice outdoor space. The kitchen was enormous and was my absolute favorite part. A few downsides, but wouldn't keep me from renting again. I felt as if the property hadn't been rented for quite some time before me. There was was layer of dust on everything and a faint musty oder in the air. Also the outdoor furniture and grill covered in a layer of dirt. Master bathroom also had a slow drain, so while showering, water collected. When I addressed this with the owner, he was immediately responsive! Which is also another plus! He offered to have the cleaning service back out right away. I declined, just gave the place a quick wipe down and it was perfect. I would stay here again. You get a lot of bang for your buck here.
