Beyond The Sea, relaxing seaside style home
|No rental rates available - please contact the owner|
Our home is actually only three years old in a family friendly community of 75 colorful seaside homes. The decor is beachy and relaxing. There are four bedrooms and an additional room on the third floor tower we use as a bedroom also. Kitchen is modern as are baths. The home is made of hardiplank with tin roof. Balcony is off the master bedroom and there is a side porch with outdoor shower; a front porch with rockers. The floors are Southern Pine with the exception of three of the upstairs bedrooms.Master Bath has double headed showers. Our home was featured in Better Homes and Gardens Summer Edition Decorating last summer. You will love the neighborhood, the shopping, the slightly secluded atmosphere. Our neighborhood is surrounded by lush tropical native plants to the area.We are only 15 minutes from the Destin/Sandestin shops, but are beaches are less busy and absolutely gorgeous! White crystalline sands and emerald waters. All beaches on 30A are blue wave beaches. We have dunes, lakes, state parks, cafe's, bike trails. The area
will make you want to return again and again. We did. Went on vacation last year and decided we wanted to purchase a home in the area.
We are looking forward to having you visit!

Thank you so much! We loved the home. We have a home in Old Florida Village and rented this home for our adult kids and it was truly perfect! Hope we left it the way we found it.

"Fun in the Sun at Beyond"
June 30, 2013
We just returned from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida & wanted to let you know what a "Great Wk" we had staying in your lovely home, "Beyond the Sea". It was spacious & we had plenty of room for the 7 of us! The location was perfect; we were close to the pool, beach, eating places, & other activities!! The house was fully equipt with linens, towels, & kitchen supplies & the a/c, ice maker & all other appliances were in good working condition!! No problems with anything & no bugs!! The other guests around us were friendly & the kids made pool pals & play buddies!! The weather turned out great & everyone had lots of fun in the sun & made great memories for the 3 generations of us! Thanks again for the use of your lovely beach house!! Beach House Stay Very Pleasant
May 27, 2013
We enjoyed the stay very much. The only thing we were a little disappointed with was the surrey bike. The bike was in poor condition, we were not able to use it. Other than that we really enjoyed the house. It was clean and we had plenty of room for our 5 children to spread out in the 5 bedroom home. We walked around the corner to the community pool almost everyday. The location of Santa Rosa is close enough to enjoy Destin for the day or Panama City area as well, but far enough to enjoy a quieter part of the beach. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay at a short notice, but I would get that bike fixed if you are going to advertise it as one of the amenities.
Home away from home

This home is roomy and delightful. With places to sleep we had plenty of room. The bedroom on the main level was great for my older parents. It was about a 4 block walk to the beach. We usually took one car to haul our stuff, everyone else walked. There were lots of dishes, videos, books, etc. The house was in very good but not like new condition. That made us more relaxed. Our only issues were the grill didn't work and there were not enough forks. Great vacation - go for it, just don't pick the week we want to come back next year!
Beautiful vacation home

This home is just beautiful. Well maintained and room for 8 adults. Five minutes by car to beach and restaurants. Would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a nice place to vacation.

We went to FL for a family wedding and used the house for a gathering place for family-it was plenty roomy and accomodated everybody. After the wedding, just our family stayed and saw the sights, went to the beach, ate locally and relaxed. I really don't like hotels because of the noise, the cramped quarters, so this house did the trick for us--it was more like "home." We will come again!

Beyond the Sea
July 10, 2009
What a great experience for the whole family. "Beyond the Sea" & the community that it was in was perfect fit for our family reunion. We will be returning next year for sure. The owner was superb with her communication & sincerely wanted us to have a great time. Everything & more regarding home entertainment was provided. We rented bikes for the family & chairs on the beach. The house, the pool, the neighborhood was clean and beautifully decorated. We brought our dogs as well and had plenty of space for them to play. The neighborhood felt safe for our 4 & 6 year old sons. We were close to Destin to take advantage of boating & parasailing. I can see my sons looking forward to their annual beach trip with the family; growing and evolving into the different activities offered at Santa Rosa's beaches. From a Northwesterner, I was impressed with the opportunities. Don't forget Elmos and the Red Bar, fun for all. Steve Sommers
A Little Piece of Heaven

We had such a wonderful time! This beautiful, tastefully decorated home was the perfect getaway! Santa Rosa Beach is a new favorite - incredibly beautiful and the perfect climate! We only had to climb into the car on 1 occasin - the supermarket, everything else was within walking distance. "Beyond The Sea" satisfied the wants and needs of 5 women (no small feat) and we were so impressed with the location. We all had our own bedroom and every amenity we could imagine. I now understand why the owners bought after vacationing there. Truly a bargain - we will be back!
Nice home but beds need new mattresses
March 30, 2009
We loved the home. Everything we needed was there except for comfortable beds. We, the parents, moved from room to room in search of a comfortable bed but one was not found! They all sagged in the middle. Needless to say, we had sore backs when we left. Despite this, our stay was good. Weather was poor during our stay only 2 days of sun, the rest was rainy. Kids would have liked a heated pool. !

Relaxation & simple pleasures
September 9, 2008
I haven't felt as relaxed & as peaceful in years as I did during the week my family spent at this precious & very roomy cottage on trendy 30A. Morning coffee on the porch rocker, walks to Ms. Lucille's Gossip Parlor for croissants or to the Key Lime Cafe for lemon squares, afternoons burying my toes in sand at the beautiful white & emerald beaches, fresh fish from GoatFeathers across the street and Saturday afternoons at the nearby SeaSide street market were just a few of my many, many pleasures. The kids all had their own rooms and baths giving everyone space. The WIFI was just perfect for working from "home." At the end of the week, I'd forgotten the past three years of stress....or even that I was running from yet another serious hurricane back home in Louisiana. I can't imagine that anywhere else would have been a better spot for my family during that time. My 30A will always be in my heart and a part of my precious family memories with our kids. I dream of my own 30A cottage
