Fabulous Italianate Wine Country Villa w/pool and spa. 4 (possibly 5) bedrooms, inc. 2 entire large master suites w/huge double bathrooms w/large jetted view tubs for 2, separate walk-in showers w/spa jets, all marble, travertine and glass tiles. Upper master has private 13' balcony w/valley and city light views. Lower master has French doors opening onto huge main round balcony, with italianate balustrades and inlaid travertine, exiting to garden, pool, and spa. 2 smaller bedrooms on lower floor, both queens, share bath w/jet tub and shower. Victorian bedroom suite upstairs w/fireplace and own bathroom with romantic double slipper tub w/handspray (great for children, too.) 1 extra raised queen aerobed. Large living room w/fireplace and cherrywood floors, 42" flat T.V., CD and DVD; formal dining room, as well as sunny breakfast rm. w/views. Gorgeous gourmet kitchen, glass tile, granite island and peninsula w/seating, Viking range, new stainless appl., all gadgets and kitchenware supplied. Full Victorian bar downstairs, stocked at no extra charge. 3rd fireplace in bar/reading room. Long loggia (balcony) off kitchen, w/large gas barbecue and outdoor fireplace, plus view kick-out w/bistro set. VIEWS! VIEWS! VIEWS! Backs to legal Open Space, creek and wooded valley, city lights at night. 2 lawn areas, rose and perennial gardens (lots of hummingbirds!), white shade gazebo, and jungle pool surrounded by tropical vegetation and attached spa. Remote control heats spa from house. Pool not heated except by arrangement. Villa is very centrally located in hills of N.E. Santa Rosa, on private lane. NOT a developer house, but one of a kind. Hundreds of fine wineries in every direction, closest only 1 mile from house. 10 min. south of charming Healdsburg, 30 min. from historical Sonoma, 25 min. from Calistoga (spas and mineral baths), 40 min. from Napa, 1 hr. from San Francisco, 45 minutes from wild Sonoma Coast beaches (be sure and see the Redwoods and Korbel Champagne cellars on the way). Close to Safari West Wild Animal Park, Lake Sonoma, and the Russian River, for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. Try wine country Hot-Air ballooning! World class restaurants. We hope to be welcoming you w/champagne and chocolate!

p.s. onsite caretakers (us) at night only, in a very separate caretaker's studio, not attached to the house, with a separate approach and entrance. We never enter the house, and we are gone morning 'til night.

Professional golf courses, one less than a mile away. 15 minutes from Safari West Animal Park (watch African animals roam free as you ride thru in your open air jeep). Spend the day relaxing in the hot spas and mineral baths of quaint Calistoga, finishing with that massage you've wanted for so long. Shop and dine in the historical squares of Healdsburg and Sonoma, sampling world-class fare from the area's finest restaurants and seafood bars. Soar high above the vineyards in a colorful Hot Air Balloon. Take one of many escorted limo wine tours w/gourmet lunch, or just drive to the coast, stopping for lunch at Korbel Champagne Cellars (tour their magnificent gardens) or Armstrong Redwoods State Park. Meander in a kayak or canoe down the Russian River. You are close to all of it!

 Far exceeded our expectations!, October 23, 2008

Maureen and Kevin have a GORGEOUS home with some of the best views in Sonoma County!We had all questions answered before we even stepped foot in the house, then we were met for an "orientation" with Kevin on the workings of the pool, hot tub, TV's, etc. Champagne and chocolate were a welcome surprise! Their home is so convenient to the beach, the redwoods, Napa Valley wineries and everything in between. We fell in love with the Russian River Brewing Co just 5 minutes from the house. The kitchen facilities were awesome, we didn't "want" for anything! The master bedroom suites were so comfortable and HUGE! Our jacuzzi tubs each overlooked the beautiful gardens, pool and the city lights of Santa Rosa!My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! There is so much to do and everything was so convenient. This was the most memorable vacation we've had, and this home had a big part of these memories! We'd LOVE to come back!Thank you Maureen & Kevin - you are kind and professional in every way!

I am getting married in August of this year and rather than having a crazy bachelorette party I decided it'd be fun to have my favorite women all meet up in wine country for the memorial day weekend. My mom, aunt, counsin, and close friends feel in love with this villa. It was the highlight of our trip. We thought it'd just be a place to lay our heads at night but it ended up being where we spent most of our time. Of course we did some wine tasting at the wineries that were all very close to the villa... but we ended up spending more time sipping wine in the hot tub than anything else. This place was a dream come true and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun relaxing get-away. We're still pinching ourselves that it was actually real. I didn't actually get to meet the owners other than over the phone but I heard my mom talked to them forever and that they were very friendly people. Unforgettable Weekend!
