Description of the Santee vacation cabin rental

Great little cabin for an escape for two people. Studio style with a bunk bed with two twin sized beds. Living area has a full size couch. Small kitchenette with all dishes and pots and pans. Bathroom with walk-in shower plus all towels and sheets provided. Feet from Lake Marion and all the comforts of Carolina King at half the price. Pet friendly for an extra fee.

“Carolina King Retreat & Marina is a beautiful waterfront haven located on Lake Marion. We have 15 acres and 1500 feet of shoreline. The landing has one launching ramp, seven piers to fish from or dock at, as well as a fish cleaning facility for your convenience. The full service marina is open 7 days a week at 7 am. The marina carries groceries, ice, beer, bait, tackle, fuel, and fishing/hunting licenses.'

For those of you who love to spend your time golfing, there are 17 golf courses within a short distance of Carolina King.

For you hunters, there is plenty of game. For example: turkey, deer, duck, wild boar, quail, and dove. Enjoy your hunting experience.

Boat rentals and fishing guides are also available.

Carolina King is located only a short distance from historical Charleston, the gateway to the south.

'Lake Marion is known for its big fish and abundant wildlife. The state fishing record for Large mouth Bass (16.2 Ibs) was set at this lake.[5] Other fish that abound are Striped bass, White Perch, White bass, Crappie, Channel catfish, Arkansas Blue Catfish, Shell crackers, Bream and Chain (Jack). Other wildlife that call Lake Marion home include deer, fox, squirrel, turtle, dove, turkey, alligator and various species of duck, hawk, eagle, egret and osprey.'
