B&B DIVAN is located in the heart of the Historic-cultural center of Old Town Sarajevo, just 20 meters from Bascarsija square, whose fountain is the symbol of Sarajevo and was built in the 18th century, by the Ottoman emperors. The Hotel, which has just been completed, combines a comforting atmosphere, which is discreet and typically Bosnian, with all the comforts of a large modern Hotel. A cafe bar, a summer garden and a smart breakfast lounge are just some of the things you can enjoy while staying here. All the rooms have a private shower, are elegantly furnished in European style and are equipped with air conditioning, a telephone, Satellite and cable TV, a Mini-bar and a hairdryer.
The elegant „B&B DIVAN“ is located in the heart of Old Town Sarajevo (down town) between the most important cultural sights: The Roman Catholic Cathedral (build by the Austrian-Hungarians), Sebilj (water fountain), Gazi Husrev-bey's mosque and the Old Orthodox church
Divan has four comforting rooms with a bathroom, and restricted capacity, it provides European comfort to the guests.
The breakfast lounge is located on the fisrt floor of the hotel where you can, not only enjoy a high quality breakfst, but also enjoy the decorative elements which are typical for this area.
The building is new and was opened 1. 8. 2008., and it represents the III generation of a family tradiotion in the hotel industry, which is dated back to 1962.
The exterior of the building has an interesting architecture in the traditional style, which goes along very well with the ambient of Bascarsija. This is why, Whether you're here on vacation or on business, Divan will make it possible for you to meet the Sarajevo from the past: In a radius of 100 meters you can find everything you need, including TRADITIONAL cafes, shops, night clubs, and delicious Bosnian food in numerous restaurants.

From the airoprt: taxi (cab) for about 10 €
From the bus station/railway station: taxi (cab) – 4 €, or the tramway to Bascarsija, just continue to follow the rails and after about 50 meters you will the B&B Divan.
