Description of the Sarasota vacation cottage rental

This cute one bedroom cottage is in a great location close to the beach and Siesta Key Village. This Siesta Shores Cottage #10 is 850 sq. ft. and has a good sized covered lanai and a fenced in area that is private. It has beamed ceilings and a open plan from the kitchen to the good sized dinning and living area. The master bedroom is large and has a desk to set up your laptop or take care of business while you are away. But that is not what you are supposed to be doing on vacation! Head two blocks into the active Village area or just across the Beach Rd. to the beach access and the #1 rated beach in the U.S. this past year.
There are two flat screen tv's and a convertable couch in the living room if you have the kids along. Nothing fancy, just a comfortable and cute cottage to spend your evenings after a day at the beach.

Area Information

Siesta Key Village is a fun place to have your meals and ice cream for the family. The restuarants have entertainment and outside seating at most. There is shopping and stores too. Just a short drive off either end of the key get you to the malls and all the restuarants you can dream of. Downtown and the bayfront is only 15 minutes. The quality restuarants and shops of St. Armand's Circle are 20 minutes. The airport is 20-25 minutes.
Orlando Theme Parks are an hour and 45 minute or so and Busch gardens is about an hour and 10 minutes.
Golfers have only 10 to 30 minutes to most coarses and there are many.
You have boat, bike and kayak rentals at the south bridge on Stickney Pt.. You can also sign up for parasailing and watercraft rentals.
Charter fisherman are at the charter dock of Marina Jacks on the bayfront in downtown mostly, but there are many local charter captains that will take you out to the flats for smaller game fish.
I can give you suggestions of places that I enjoy and you can give you my picks. We have some of the best food around in Sarasota and the atmosphere to go with it.

There is a $200 damage deposit that is refundable if left reasonably clean. $25 per hour for over two hours of cleaning if needed. Cleaning for the first two hours is included in rental. Owner has the option to change the requirement of days of rental required at there sole discreation.

There are kids activities and fun stores plus water parks and playgounds within blocks to six miles at max. Siesta Key is in the middle of all the fun, yet feels tropical and not overly touristy. Many things to do and places to go for all ages.

Siesta Key cottage

Cozy one bedroom unit with open living and dining rooms. Older construction has been updated with tasteful interior remodeling. Fenced yard with gas barbeque grill. Exists in friendly cottage neighborhood and 3 blocks from Siesta Key Village, with it shops and restaurants. Beach is across the street and easily walkable. Not fancy but a really comfortable place to call home while visiting one of Sarasota's best beaches! I'd go back (which is the basic recommendation)!
