This was our first time staying in a rental accomodation. The owner was so helpful and friendly and gave us all the information we needed. Would definitely recommend staying at this property. Close to all ammenities retaurants, bars, beach etc. Felt like home, property had everything we needed, and would definitely stay in this property again.

Joyce and Jeff are possibly the best host and hostess in all of Sarasota. The accommodations are charming and located within walking distance of the beautiful Lido beach and St. Armands shopping. It was amazingly peaceful even being so close to such busy tourist attractions. It was restful and healing for me and perfect in all ways! I was included in ways I never expected and made to feel so welcome. Thank you so much!

I do not think there could be a more perfectly located Hacienda nor more gracious hosts than Joyce and Jeff. This darling one bedroom apartment located in their Guest House is fully outfitted with everything one could possibly need and a plethora of things to simply enjoy. The kitchen had more gizmos and gadgets than I currently have in mine! There is room to hang all your clothes and drawers to fill with belongings in the large walk-in closet. A large, comfortable bedroom with a quaint, Mexican Pottery filled living and dining room. There were beautiful views from windows and balconies. Particularly stunning, was the Pool and adjacent gardens, filled with orchids, lemon and banana trees! St. Armand's Circle is a short walk away, as is the Beach! Our Hosts were available as we needed them, and at the same time, afforded us the privacy we desired. Bring your bathing suits and comfortable walking shoes....you won't need much else! Oh yes....don't forget to pack an extra carry-on bag for all the treasures you will undoubtedly find at St. Armand's Circle, nearby Siesta Key and downtown Sarasota. We had to buy two!

We enjoyed the quiet coziness of this beautiful little guest house which met all of our travel needs. Beautiful neighbourhood just a few blocks from the shops and restaurants at St. Armands cirlce. We enjoyed the sun, the sand, and the sea birds during our walks along a long and beautiful stretch of beach. We enjoyed shaded picnics at South Lido Park, tromping through the "jungle" to the more desolate North end of the beach and long bike rides along the coast to Siesta Key. Sarasota is a lovely city with beautiful homes, inlets and boats at every turn Our hosts were friendly, hospitable and helpful in so many ways. A wonderful place to visit.

We loved our week at this property on St. Armand's Key. A cute apartment just a 2 block walk from the abundant shopping and dining options on St. Armand's Circle. Especially loved the well-stocked kitchen for cooking our daughter's favorite meals while we were visiting her for Parents Weekend at Ringling College. We sunbathed, fished and shelled just a short drive away on Lido Beach at a park with picnic tables, shade trees, restrooms, and beautiful white sand with crystal clear water. Centrally located to all Sarasota sights.

This is an extraordinary property in so many ways. In the first place, its location is superb (just minutes from St. Armands Circle and the beaches at Lido Key). A lucky turn of events landed us at Joyce & Jeff's utterly charming guesthouse. Very clean and inviting--more like home than a strange rental. They made us feel like old friends coming to visit. No need for a car as shops, restaurants and beach all a short walk. In fact, we stayed an extra day. We will be back soon. Shhhh...let's keep this our secret!

This is a wonderful guest apartment... clean and bright. The property was well kept and we felt like we were at home. Privacy and solitude reined supreme. Our hosts Jeff and Joyce are kind and friendy. I can't believe were only 2 minutes walk to the famous St. Armand's Circle... and 5 minutes walk from Lido Beach! Thanks Jeff and Joyce.

The accomodations were fine. We generally stay in a condo but decided to try something new by renting a guest house. We found things very expensive and our Canadian dollar didn't go far. Absolutely best area so far in Florida, so much to see and enjoy. The Harts were very nice people.

Our accomodations were lovely! Updated, clean, comfortable and very close to the cirle and the beach. The renters were very nice and could not have been more accomodating. Nice pool at the home and a beautifully landscaped yard. We would highly recommend staying here!

A wonderful property in a wonderful location with wonderful hosts! From the moment we arrived ( great banana bread-thanks Joyce!) to the moment we left it was home from home! Our private retreat was spotless, cosy, minutes from the beach and the boutiques and restaurants of St Armands Circle - my husband would argue too close to the boutiques!! The area is perfect for golf, watersports, cycling ,walking the magnificent beach at Lido Key as well as a spot of retail therapy! We can't wait to go back but lets keep this our little secret....shhhhh!
