Sarasota has been made famous for it's art community and culture since the circus magnate John Ringling settled in the area in the 1920's. The John Ringling Art Museum and mansion are a popular attraction. In the community there are many facilities for offshore and bay fishing, jet skiing, wind surfing, walking, equistrian sports, golfing, tennis, opera, ballet, symphony, theatre, motorsports and much more.

I-75 makes traveling to Tampa/St Petersburg, Venice, Ft Myers, Naples convenient. Sarasota is about 2 hours from Orlando's Disney/Universal Studios etc.

A lucky turn of events landed us at Joyce & Jeff's utterly charming guesthouse. Very clean and inviting--more like home than a strange rental. They made us feel like old friends coming to visit. No need for a car as shops, restaurants and beach all a short walk. In fact, we stayed an extra day. We will be back soon. Shhhh...let's keep this our secret!

This is a wonderful guest apartment... clean and bright. The property was well kept and we felt like we were at home. Privacy and solitude reined supreme. Our hosts Jeff and Joyce are kind and friendy. I can't believe were only 2 minutes walk to the famous St. Armand's Circle... and 5 minutes walk from Lido Beach! Thanks Jeff and Joyce.

The accomodations were fine. We generally stay in a condo but decided to try something new by renting a guest house. We found things very expensive and our Canadian dollar didn't go far. Absolutely best area so far in Florida, so much to see and enjoy. The Harts were very nice people.

Our accomodations were lovely! Updated, clean, comfortable and very close to the cirle and the beach. The renters were very nice and could not have been more accomodating. Nice pool at the home and a beautifully landscaped yard. We would highly recommend staying here!

A wonderful property in a wonderful location with wonderful hosts! From the moment we arrived ( great banana bread-thanks Joyce!) to the moment we left it was home from home! Our private retreat was spotless, cosy, minutes from the beach and the boutiques and restaurants of St Armands Circle - my husband would argue too close to the boutiques!! The area is perfect for golf, watersports, cycling ,walking the magnificent beach at Lido Key as well as a spot of retail therapy! We can't wait to go back but lets keep this our little secret....shhhhh!
