Description of the Sarasota vacation home rental

Our house is a great beachfront home with a wonderful view right on Point of Rocks, a very private and popular vacation spot. Siesta Key is a great place to vacation with lots of great restaurants and shopping. Siesta Beach, rated #1 in the US is a 5min. walk away - perfect for long morning and evening walks. A set of stairs from our deck leads down to a narrow shelly beach that changes with the tide. A flat limestone rock formation extends into the water making it a good spot for snorkeling and watching shorebirds.
Our 2500 square ft. home is comfortable and beachy.
The master bedroom is upstairs with it own private bathroom. Two additional bedrooms are downstairs A queen and one room with a trundle bed. There's a deck on the water side for your relaxation and also on the opposite side of the home off of the living room. The home is fully furnished and all of your linens and cooking necessities are supplied. This is a great spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the ocean.

Area Information

Sarasota Florida is one of the best places in the USA to vacation. People from all over come here to enjoy the beach and culture.It's on the Gulf of Mexico and is on the edge of the sub tropical zone.There are alot of water related activities to enjoy along with theatres, galleries and shopping. The restaurants are fabulous and there's lots of live music to hear if you explore around town. The Ringling Museum, Mote Marine and the Selby Gardens are a view of the spots to visit.

Fantastic Experience

This is one of the best vacation houses that we have ever rented. The house has that perfect beach house charm,, and has lots of room for the entire family. The view is just spectacular, and you have a perfect private beach house right out your back door, and if you so desire, you can take a 5 minute walk to the public beach; It just doesn't get any better than this. We were also very pleased with the communication from the home owners prior to our trip. They made sure that we had all of our questions answered, and that we had all the details needed prior to our vacation. We cannot thank the owners enough for the opportunity to stay at their home. I would recommend this house and this Sarasota location to anyone who is looking for some privacy to relax and enjoy the Florida sun!. We cannot wait to go back. George & Teri

Wonderful home to retreat and refresh

May 1, 2013

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful time at this oceanfront home. Home just as described in the listing, right on the ocean, quiet neighborhood, minutes from Siesta Key public beaches, views could not be better. Hosts are friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. The property was clean and well kept, with all basic provisions. The home is practical and liveable, we spent most of our time there (including cooking meals from fresh local seafood) because we had no reason to leave. The ocean is steps away (down the stairs from back deck), and when we weren't on the oceanfront, we were on the deck or in the living room enjoying the ocean. We had a great retreat with just husband and wife, but would also be a great place to bring our whole family with kids. We thoroughly enjoyed this home and are planning to return in the future.
