Description of the Sarasota vacation home rental

Location, location, location!

Ideally located charming cottage near downtown, with one bedroom, one bath and den. Built in 1928 and recently completely renovated to modern standards. Tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable with an enclosed front porch perfect for people watching, and a deck overlooking the peaceful backyard. The home is next to the historic "boat and lighthouse", a famous landmark in the city of Sarasota.

From the living room you can see "Downtown Village": a collection of quaint cottages converted into restaurants, art galleries and shops.
The owners are proud of their home and will do their best to make your stay pleasant. Sorry, no pets and no smoking.

Area Information

The cottage is ideally located in the historic downtown neighborhood of Gillespie park, a short distance to everything Sarasota has to offer. You can walk to Main Street with its diverse offerings of restaurants, shops, galleries, and theaters. You can also walk to the weekly farmers market, Whole Foods, and the galleries of Towles Court - a quaint artist colony.
St Armand's Circle, The Ringling Museum of Art and the beaches are only minutes away by bike or car.

Picturesque and full accommodation

Picturesque and full accommodation This property is fully furnished, centrally located in Sarasota. Center is within walking distance. The cottage is situated on the property of the owner in a friendly environment. The cottage has one bedroom cozy, well-equipped kitchen with dining room, living room, bathroom and a small conservatory. The house has a porch with seating overlooking a charming garden. Towels and tea towels in abundance. We are kindly received, nice explanation of the attractions to be visited occasions. It's clean! We believe a great stay for 1 to 4 weeks if you want to meet Florida. In all its facets The blinds of the windows deserves attention. An explanation of the operation of the existing ingress equipment (kitchen / living room) is desirable.

PERFECT LOCATION!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in your vacation cottage. The design of the space was lovely, the artwork interesting, the furnishings tasteful. I enjoyed relaxing on the deck, surrounded by exquisitely maintained tropical gardens and the historic boat and lighthouse landmarks. Of special interest to me is the location of the cottage in the Gillespie Park neighborhood. I enjoy walking, and in a matter of minutes I could walk downtown and stroll the scenic Sarasota harbor. We have recommended the cottage to our friends - one of whom, I understand, has already booked a stay there for next season.

Excellent vacation home !

We had the perfect home for 2, the cottage is clean, charming and comfortable. The back porch allowed us to relax with a beautiful view, it is ideally located at a short walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great hospitality from our host Diana & Elwin, very accommodating. We have been riding our bikes around Sarasota for two months and would highly recommend this place to all. Easily a place to return to

My husband and I arrived on January 1st and were greeted by our gracious hosts, Elwin and Diana. They were very helpful in providing information on events currently happening and knew the area well. The home was beautifully renovated and was decorated in a very trendy style. The gardens were well maintained and a treat to relax in during the heat of the day. The closeness to the downtown area enabled us to do a lot of walking. The food store "Whole Foods" was a real treat to shop for our meals. There are a number of restaurants straight along 4th Avenue close to Lemon St.. It was our first try at staying a whole month in one place and we were so pleased with our choice. ..We are more the pleased to give our recommendation to this vacation rental.
