Description of the Sarasota vacation villa rental

The property was completed in September 2005. Until January 2007 the property was a long term rental home. However, it was decided to turn the property into a rental home for the short and long term rental market. The property was furnished in January 2007 with our first guests entering mid February 2007. The property is situated on one of Sarasota 's sought after communities - University Place. It has a total floor area of 2136 sq. ft. This executive home is simply exquisite and features four bedrooms, three bathrooms, family room, living room, kitchen, breakfast / dining area, dining room, utility room, private pool and pool deck and a double garage. This property is of 'villa style and accommodation is based on one level.

We have carefully furnished this property and have tried to keep up with the feel of the home and the community. Fully equipped to the highest standards it features everything a vacationer / holiday maker would require to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. The home will fulfil your dream vacation / holiday. Due to the number of bedrooms / bathrooms featured in this property it would be ideal for two families to share.

The executive property is set backing onto a wooded / preserve area on University Place central to Sarasota and therefore in an ideal location for the sandy beaches of Lido Key and Siesta Key. It is located near a number shops and restaurants.

This home features a total pool area of 50 ft 3 inch x 29 ft x 18 ft 8 inch, with a 27 ft.9 inch kidney shaped private heated salt water pool which is south west facing. A pool blanket is provided on a roller to help keep the heat in the pool especially during the winter months and also when pool heating is specifically requested / paid for by our guests. Pool heating is recommended for pools during the months of September / October to April / May. However, this is entirely up to our guests as this service is in addition to the property rental rate. The pool deck has a covered lanai where you will find the patio table and eight chairs. The pool deck is also equipped with four sun-loungers which are ideal for sunbathers and the pool screening helps protect the area from leaves, insects etc. For added security around the pool there is a child safety barrier.

From the rear of the property guests can look out over the preserve / wooded area, which is very peaceful and tranquil. It has been known for guests to have caught glimpses of various wildlife. Guests will enjoy the peace and quiet from the rear, as the property is not overlooked by any other home / other property pool areas.

University Place can be accessed by leaving the Interstate 75 at Exit 213. It is situated in a convenient location with easy access to Tampa, Naples, Orlando, Bradenton etc... and within easy access to local beaches, state parks, supermarkets, local shopping malls / outlets, restaurants, theatres and much more.

There are plenty of golf courses in the area and these include, to name but a few: Tara, Greenfield Plantations, River Strand and Stoneybrook Golf Club. Stoneybrook Golf Course is an 18 hole, par 72, course designed by Arthur Hills one of the worlds top 5 designers and is situated within the Heritage Harbour Community. Guests play through a landscape, highlighted by mature woods, wetland preserves and lakes which create a truly wonderful blend of strategic risk / reward holes. It's a true golfer's course.
Although Tampa Airport is the nearest International Airport to the property, other airports are also within an easy drive to the property and these include Sarasota / Bradenton (20 minutes), Orlando (2 hours), and Orlando Sanford (2'''' hours).

If you want to visit the Orlando attractions (eg. Disney, Universal, Sea World etc...) these can be reached by car within around 1'''' to 1¾ hours whilst Busch Gardens can be reached by car in around 50 minutes. This area of the Gulf Coast is stylish, upscale, beautiful and very well placed for all that Florida has to offer its visitors. A premier outlet mall is just three stops up the freeway (there are over 250 shops!). The designer shops of St Armand's Circle together with various restaurants it has to offer throughout the day and evening is about a 30 minute drive away.

There are also many fine dining and casual restaurants all within easy reach of the property! Watching the sun go down with the dolphins and manatees in the bay is simply a must when you stay here!

The famous beaches of Lido and Siesta Key are also only a short drive away. The aquarium and Ringling Brothers Circus Museum are firm favourites, too! There are boats to hire, boats to ride - all sorts of water sports - fishing - the list is endless! There is no place like this place!
